We are worried about security and this is a plus!
Such a height that your head will easily spin.
Beautiful view, clean place, stairs with handrails to climb easily and conveniently. There is parking for cars.
I was born and lived in Shemonaiha for 10 years, all my school years. We lived on the main street of the Sovetskaya city. Now it is named after the writer, our countryman, Anatoly Ivanov Street. And it's cool.
The landmark of the city of Shemonaiha and the entire district, after reconstruction in 2023, it became generally pleasant to climb and observe the beauty of nature from a height, especially picturesque from May to October.
It is a very beautiful place, clean and tidy and the WWII monument is always well maintained. Children love to ask questions and talk about Maria's life and what could have been done.
Everything about nature is great. The attitude of the police and the Kazakhs (individual) is just the bottom. I feel very sorry for those locals who put up with this mess. The terrible attitude of the authorities towards people.
A gorgeous and beautiful place, worth visiting at least once in your life! There is a place where you can stay overnight, a small river flows nearby, the water is very cold
The pride of our small city, a gorgeous view, a very interesting story. A great place for privacy, or get-togethers with your best friend and a cup of coffee
Very beautiful mountains, a huge statue of a girl. As far as I know, the girl died here, on this mountain. There is an observation deck near the statue, the views are just wonderful!
Mary's rock is when you want to say something good or something else, it's okay anyway, as if into the void, especially if someone is telling the truth when you don't know what you want from life
I grew up in those parts, so everything is memorable and beautiful for me there. This cliff is a very beautiful place, recently it has been improved around, in general, do not drive past, stop, take a breath and admire the beauty..
A beautiful place in any weather.
There is a great view of Shemonaiha and the nature around.
Everything is well-maintained, stairs, Parking, lanterns, benches.
Maryin utes is a business card of the Shemonaikhinsky district. The novel written by Anatoly Ivanov describes the history of this particular cliff, of course the place has acquired a modern look, and the monument dedicated to Maria Voronova, the heroine of the novel, has been updated and will delight guests and residents of the district. The Shemonaikhinsky cliff is unique, although about 40 more cliffs are similar to it. For us, fellow countrymen of Anatoly Ivanov, it is a pride to live on the land where the famous writer was born.
When coming to Shemonaiha, be sure to visit the Cliff.
A beautiful place, but neglected. The cafe and the free-standing toilet start working late. The pond is dirty, everything is overgrown with grass and trees.
We passed through in June 2023. We haven't been to this place for two years. We stopped as always. Tradition. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by how much the playground and what is next to it have changed. Everything has changed for the better. Five points.
It is indescribably beautiful - solemn and sad at the same time. We were there in the afternoon, it was raining. Very impressive) My husband and I want to go back there, and this is not pathos.
A cool place and nature and a monument on the mountain and a story that unfortunately young people do not know and do not want to read and study, but I grew up on Ivanov's books and films, in general, the place is cool and relax and learn something from the past
My favorite place in Shemonaiha is always when I go there, I go there. The atmosphere there is such that you can sit and think and admire the view from the top.
A beautiful monument to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War.Seven busts of Heroes of the Soviet Union, and a full wall of names of those who died in the war.Through
When we go to Kazakhstan, we must come here. Very beautiful. Especially at sunset. It looks like bloody streaks on the rock. The monument is huge. The book to which this monument belongs is wonderful. I recommend
The place is undoubtedly very beautiful, but the cafe has a paid toilet, paid gazebos and trestles. They will soon start taking money for dishes with logic, saying that this is our property.
The birthplace of the writer A. Ivanov, the author of "Shadows disappear at noon", "The Eternal Call," the city of Shemonaiha in the East Kazakhstan region, where this monument to Maria Voronova is installed. Many readers are mistaken, considering Mary's Cliff to be all sorts of places in the Urals and in the Perm Region. The true Cliff is in the writer's homeland, towering over the river Slaughter (Svetlikha, Gromotukha), Shantara- Shemonaiha. Anatoly Ivanov in his novels described the nature native to childhood and the fate of fellow countrymen.
