The hotel is good as a location, but the beds and pillows really smell in the room, and there is a queue night in the hotel, but as a hotel customer, an extra participation fee is charged from you, I tell you to pay attention to them.
A very atmospheric hotel with a beautiful view of the old town. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is delicious. The room was very clean.
There were live music evenings at the hotel every evening.
A great place if you travel by car! There is a parking lot, an elevator inside, and a regular breakfast in the morning. Polite attentive staff, clean rooms with cleaning supplies and a hairdryer.
So our small summer holidays, timed to coincide with the Eid al-Adha holiday, which my friends and I dedicated to a trip to the eastern part of Turkey, have come to an end.
In our case, there were four stops in different cities and in different hotels. But the most memorable one remained with me and I think that with my friends, this is the city of Mardin and the Maridin Hotel.
The main and main advantage of our stay at the hotel was a large room with high ceilings and a room on the second floor, in which one man and three women were accommodated separately from the one following with us. The door... the front door to the room deserves special attention. A wooden door with metal rivets and an antique bolt. You definitely want to open this door and enter this fabulous house to feel like a little spoiled princess. The windows are decorated with drapes falling from metal curtains of exquisite workmanship. Voluminous armchairs of smooth shapes upholstered in dark fabric are combined with mosaics, which are elegantly laid on the floor and walls of the premises. The room is decorated with vaults and arches, which are encircled by stucco molding and elegantly emanating light from built-in lamps. Of course, nowhere without bright and soft carpets on the floor, which allows you to walk barefoot and feel at home. I was very impressed with the Jacuzzi and metal bathroom accessories.
The hotel itself is comparable to a castle, with colorful forms of compositions and beautiful views. There is a restaurant with live music on the top floor. Breakfast is served indoors on the ground floor. A real Turkish breakfast is served with its variety of goodies and tea in a "mess" with a thin waist.
The staff at the hotel is friendly and welcoming. Our ignorance of the Turkish language did not affect the hospitality of the hotel staff in any way.
I recommend this hotel to all those who are tired of the scarcity of minimalism, who want to surround themselves with luxury and emphasize their high status, those who want to feel like a princess or a prince, as well as all those in love with the culture of the East.
With admiration, little Lady Olga from St. Petersburg :)
A gorgeous hotel. Stunning views. Cozy rooms. It feels like you're living in an oriental fairy tale. It is unclear why the hotel has 1 star here.
An ideal place for organizing photo shoots and celebrations.
