In 2011, it was a heavenly place. Blue water, white sand and almost 3 km. A shore where you could walk. Only Sheraton and Le meridian had their own beach, which did not interfere with the walk at all, since the hotel was located at the end / beginning of the "strip". In 2022, a lot has changed, most of the beach has been equipped with paid sun beds, the passage to the beach has become convenient only starting from Al fattan towers and further towards the Sofitel.
But this year has upset me thoroughly. There is no more sea in which you can swim and not swim on a wrapper or a piece of paper. The relatively clean water appeared on the beach of the Habtoor grand resort and Le meridian hotels. There are a lot of yachts floating in the sea not far from the shore, I don't know why the sea has become dirty, but this is a fact. Dubai is attractive not only by the sea, but if the purpose of the trip is marine, then I would not visit this beach anymore.

The only thing is THAT paid umbrellas and sun loungers are installed on the beach and the price for them is not small - 200 dirhams. I think if the price was less, then this "beach equipment" would be in great demand, and as a rule, several (a few) sun loungers are occupied. Near the beach there are several cafes and good shops with delicious fruits that have already been washed, cut into pieces and packed in a film, so on the way to the beach you can treat yourself to a delicious treat.
