Review of Fifty five suites (there is some kind of mishmash of photos and names of hotels here)
If your expectations of a holiday in Turkey are: a large hotel area, 24/7 food, a beach bar and animation, then do not spoil your impressions of the rest and the rating of the hotel - it is simply not yours. If options are possible, then long read: rested with my son (12 years old) , 12 nights. This is a small city hotel with an excellent location and "unstoppable" rooms. So in order. The hotel has 55 rooms, 5 of them without balconies (107-111), I can be a little wrong with the numbering, there are rooms with almost sea view (01-02 on the three upper floors), but please note that the hotel does not share the view and the availability of balconies at prices, so, as luck would have it, street noise does not interfere with any one. To the center, the grand bazaar, 7 minutes on foot, to the marina and the old town 10 minutes, to the beach 2 minutes. The hotel does not have its own beach and beach towels too, even for rent. The city beach is quite clean and comfortable, umbrellas can always be found, there is a shower, toilet and changing cabins, there are no sun beds, but there are bars nearby that provide them for ordering something. The hotel has no territory, there is a veranda and a backyard with tables and a small swimming pool, 1.5m deep. The staff is polite and friendly, if it matters to anyone, then almost every shift at the reception has Russian-speaking employees. All issues can be solved without problems, if you do not resort to waving a saber and shouting "it's gone - you must!!! "🙂 There is no animation, for me it is +)) The rooms are cleaned well, replenished with shampoo gels, tea and coffee. Water in the room upon check-in, then you can pour into these bottles from the cooler in the lobby. In 12 days, we changed the linen 2 times, and towels countless times😄 Meal.. breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar from 10 to 22 (wine, beer, yuppie, tea, coffee, like more gin) but here I find it difficult, since I didn't really use ice cream for another hour a day) Of course, there are questions about nutrition, there are no complaints about snacks and salads, side dishes too, fruits according to the season.. BUT if something is made of meat or soy, it is over-dried and overcooked to death, and I would also like the hotel to invent a simple omelet for breakfast. In general, you will not starve, but you are unlikely to get pleasure either. We periodically went to eat in restaurants, of which there are many around, the average check is 500 lira per person (at the current exchange rate of 1500 rubles), but the portions are large. If there was a breakfast-only option from Russia, I would choose this type of food, especially since lunch and dinner can be paid on the spot.
I don't seem to have forgotten anything🤔 Bottom line : many thanks to all the staff for your work, I definitely recommend the hotel
The hotel is called Fifty Five Suits.
A wonderful hotel for its price, it can be seen that after a recent restoration. Ideal for a family holiday, the beach is a minute's walk away. There are not so many rooms with sea views, if you are considering this option. The hotel has an elevator.
I was very pleased with the hotel staff, it was nice to communicate throughout the rest, as friendly as possible, especially I would like to mention Ozi, Olya and Murat - you are the best. And also don't miss the chic author's cocktails at the bar at Ozi's.
I liked the hotel, great location - in the city center, the beach - cross the road. The rooms are clean, Cleaning every day. We took only breakfast - everything was standard: boiled eggs, leafy greens, vegetables, achma with cheese and spinach, cheese, local sausage - we were not hungry. The staff speaks Russian.
The hotel has a rule: you can't eat or drink in the rooms (you can have water and tea), it's unclear what this is related to - but you can survive)
A great threesome in the heart of Marmaris. The staff is friendly and speaks Russian. I really liked the food, vegetables, chicken, lamb, mackerel, watermelons and melons. Always delicious coffee in the coffee machine. You need to ask for rooms above the second floor (there are no balconies) and the sea side. The owner was replaced and repairs were made while there are no refrigerators, which caused some inconvenience, they promised to deliver next year. And they changed the name - now it's Fifty Fife. There is a private beach.
Great hotel! It was opened after renovation on June 1, 2023, and the owner also changed. The room is great, everything is new, towels with branded symbols. The usual Turkish breakfast: puff pastry with cheese, cheese, butter, eggs, jam, bread, fries, sausages (tasteless), lots of greens, cucumbers, tomatoes. Sometimes oranges and cookies. I cannot say about dinners and lunches, they were not included, I only know that you can buy separately for 250 lire per person. Irina is an excellent Russian-speaking receptionist at the reception, the rest try to communicate as best they can, even the maids say "Hello".
Cleaning is done every day, but towels are simply put in place, they were changed only once in 5 days.
And, attention, the hotel has FREE Wi-Fi everywhere!!!! And it catches perfectly!
There is a balcony!
Location - yes.
Check-in - no.
My daughter and I were settled in a room without a balcony and with one small bed.
Although the description of the room indicated that there is a balcony and two beds.
Our requests to move to another room corresponding to the stated one were answered: there are no rooms, the hotel is full!
The Russian-speaking girl Olga is clearly not trying to help :
Even when asked to give a second bedspread - two adults on the same bed, and the bed was made with one bedspread, Olga said that there were no more bedspreads,
and brought a creepy gray rag - she took something from a homeless person.
That's it!
The hotel is good, the food is excellent, the sea is close, but in 7 days the room has not been cleaned and the towel has not been changed. The pool in the hotel is for show:) And the main trash is cardboard walls and audibility for the entire floor.
The beach is dirty and always with a lack of free space under an umbrella. I.e. it was necessary to drive half an hour to the beach in Icmeler (in total), which is not always convenient.
All excursions are either banal and boring, or go straight for the whole day and spend time mostly on the road.
We had a rest in September 2019. Excellent location of the hotel, 2 minutes from the public beach.walking distance, cozy room, friendly staff-for 3* it is wonderful.
