Whenever I visit Almaty (and this is once or twice a year), I certainly go to the pizzeria Marzo, which is at the entrance. I really like their pizza and cocktails. If you are in the area of Almaty 1 Railway Station, then by all means take a look at this center. On the ground floor there is a mini market of products-fruits-vegetables.
