The friendly host and the staff will do everything to make you enjoy your food and drinks. The meat cooked in the tandoor was juicy and delicious. Salads are prepared professionally. The tasting of wine and stronger spirits in our company did not leave anyone indifferent.
Don't drive by and enjoy not only the natural beauty in the surroundings, but also this cafe!

We visited Matevosians House on 19.11.24 as part of an excursion. An incredibly beautiful place! The restaurant offers stunning views of the field and mountains🔥
The owner of the establishment, Sarkis, is very hospitable and with a good sense of humor. 😃 It felt like we didn't come to the restaurant, but to visit a good friend. 😍
A gorgeous table was set for our group! What was in the food: Caesar salad, fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade pickles and bread, Armenian cheese, noodle soup, pork and chicken kebab cooked in tandoor, compote. In addition, we were treated to delicious coffee, local wine and cognac on peaches (I don't drink cognac, but I enjoyed this drink - the aroma is amazing).
You need to go here exclusively hungry - the portions are incredibly large and everything is very tasty!
A pleasant place where you don't want to leave! It should be very beautiful here in summer 😍

We were at a guided lunch. It's a wonderful place! A warm, hospitable welcome. The table is beyond praise. The barbecue was incredibly delicious, there was so much food that our company of 12 people could not leave it empty, no matter how much the owner asked). The peach brandy of our own production left everyone delighted, and we bought a bottle. We will definitely come back here again!

A very convenient and delicious place on the way to Tatev or Jermuk, I stop here for the great tandoor kebabs and the super pleasant host. The local cognac goes great with meat. My average check is usually 5-8k drams/person.

It's a cozy place at home. The owner of the establishment is very friendly. What I tried and liked 100/100: kebabs from the oven (crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside), pomegranate wine and soft cognac that smells of peach. I've been through twice, to be honest, I'd drive and drive past x)

Unforgettable! We were on an excursion nearby and stopped by. Very tasty and good! To say that it is hospitable here is to say nothing!
People get a feeling of happiness from visiting such places!
Why is that? – A fascinating view of the green valley and ancient mountains opens directly from the carefully laid table.
A hot, orange fire in a real tandoor that lives here on the twigs of a dry vine - that's why the barbecue is so delicious and fragrant!
And also the wonderful, kind humor of the owner, Uncle Sarkis, who will make even the saddest in the world smile.
His signature red salad is made only here. The purple hue, the delicious areni "women's wine" and the cognac made by his brother in the neighboring village – all this deserves special mention.
They say, if you're lucky, you can even see storks pacing among the trees right in front of the veranda.
In short, it turns out that in order to return to a carefree childhood, where there are no problems, where everything is delicious and cozy, at home, you do not need to invent a time machine.

We stopped by with an excursion and after a long journey and acquaintance with spiritual food, Matevosian House was a place of relaxation and real food.
A unique view of the mountains from the window, author's salads, a chic tandoor kebab with finger sauce, baked potatoes and a master class on drinks for an appetizer.
If you want to learn how to drink coffee and cognac in Armenian, come here! This visit will be remembered for a long time thanks to the host Sarkis.

It was the most delicious pastime in Armenia. Cozy, homely, hospitable, magically delicious. The owner of the Restaurant is a wonderful person. They treated him to wine, cognac - produced by his older brother. All the food on the table is supplied by his younger brother. And the owner himself cooks and manages. In general, this is the story when a family business really wins in terms of quality in comparison with online commercial establishments. For a ridiculous price, such a chic table was set for us, and so many interesting things were told - that it is simply not possible to evaluate. Thanks to our driver and guide David and Arsen for bringing us here. They say not to get into the season at all, but we were in November. We were alone in the restaurant, and lunch was prepared especially for us 🩷

We came here for lunch on the advice of our guide and didn't regret it for a second. I highly recommend this place for lunch. For all the time that we have been in Armenia, we have eaten the most delicious meat here. We did not order according to the menu, but 7000 drams per person, the three of us ate and there was a lot left, that is, you can overeat for this amount. Plus, the food is served with homemade wine and TOP cognac. As far as I understand, you need to book a place in advance, because there are a lot of people who want to.

A very warm welcome, delicious food, a variety of dishes. A large table was set for our company of 9 people. The owner Sarkis, seeing how we were trying to capture all of us at the table, gladly volunteered to help), came up, asked if it was delicious, if he liked everything, joked, arranged a photo shoot with a tandoor kebab for everyone, conducted an excursion to the winery, arranged a small tasting, after of course it was not without shopping). Beautiful view of the mountains and garden, kind host (member of the Chefs Association), cozy and thoughtful courtyard, delicious tandoori kebab, magnificent caesar, cheese and pepper salad. Beautiful Matevosian red wine - don't worry that you only have hand luggage - find it in Dutifrey. A very nice place!

We had lunch here, chose a place based on reviews. Very hospitable host. Barbecue in a tandoor - you'll lick your fingers. The decor is modest, but a new pavilion for guests is being built. A few days later we returned here, bought wine and cognac from the owner. Incredibly delicious, thank you very much! A magnificent welcoming country, amazing, very friendly people. On the road, they gave a bunch of their ripened grapes, rested their souls!

A home-made restaurant with a winery, which was opened by the chef. An interesting presentation of tandoor kebab with a photo shoot, delicious specialty salads.
From the nuances, there was a smell of varnish in the freshly painted veranda and a chicken kebab could have been more delicious.
