Cozy, delicious, the serving time is at least 40 minutes. Most of the dishes are not available, they are banquet. The place is not for those who are hungry. Prices are unreasonably high. In other similar places, you can eat two to three times cheaper and no less tasty. The establishment is suitable for holding pretentious, expensive banquets.
I drove by on a sightseeing tour and remembered the place, I came back to look at it on purpose. This is the best place to have lunch. In the building with blue domes in 1970, expensive designer repairs were made, tables made of natural wood rest on legs made of Murano glass, panels of mother-of-pearl on the walls, chandeliers from Venice, heavy chairs-thrones with high backs. Expensive, beautiful, stylish. The restaurant is well zoned, there are places for large companies and for private conversations. I chose a separate "office" behind the screen. I took samsa and shurpa, I liked everything. The prices are high. I would like to mention the service separately, ten points, two were made(!) complementa, tea for me and mors for my son. Five Michelin stars from me.)
Super interior, but not atmospheric. It's deserted and dreary.) But there is nothing to complain about. Good service, high-quality food. But there is no fire of emotions!)
A decent restaurant with a colorful interior, delicious, good-quality, well-cooked food. You can take beautiful photos in a beautiful interior (if you want). Pleasant service.
The BLUE DOMES restaurant is the very center of the green boulevard. Once upon a time, Uzbek cigarettes were produced in honor of this institution, which were called "Blue Domes". I am very glad that this institution was not renamed and preserved, and for many it is significant, especially for those who built this complex. HOW VALUABLE IT IS TO PRESERVE AN INHERITANCE THAN TO RUIN IT WITH UNCONSCIOUSNESS.
The interior is very pretentious.
It's straight "expensive rich")
The staff is courteous and speaks Russian well.
Meat dishes are delicious, but contain too many spices.
Manta rays are amazing.
The wine is tolerable.
The prices are expensive.
Alcohol is too expensive.
For this level of pathos and prices, only manta rays were good enough.
He'll go for his money.
What I liked: the interior is very unusual and looks interesting
What I didn't like: a staggering 20% hidden premium to the price, which is written in small print at the bottom of the menu. Cheesecake that tastes like B. Y. Alexandrov cheese. The toilet is covered in flies - they don't seem to be fighting at all
Well, not those blue domes anymore.
Not like in Soviet times...
Well, that would be ice cream, in stainless steel vases and in the sun melted and eat with a spoon, sitting on the terrace
Mega expensive, 10 times more expensive than any place in Tashkent. For understanding, a simple bottle of vodka is $ 110... A bottle of simple wine is $ 150, a bottle of plain wine is $ 80.... in general, we should try to have dinner like this... Consider sitting quietly... $100 per person without a drink.
The service is of course excellent
I will write off the tip immediately 15%))
Pretentious and mega expensive
We were with the girls at 11 a.m., we called there in advance, but then, as it turned out, they demanded a deposit of 200k each, initially no one talked about it.
The prices are very high, and the portions are tiny, even for a cocktail at the price of 42 thousand, for some reason, they were later recalculated in the receipt and recorded as 60 thousand.
I won't go anymore and I don't recommend it to anyone
A great restaurant, with a unique and authentic atmosphere.
Not bad cuisine and unique alcohol "Blue domes".
However, be ready to fork out, because the prices are not affordable.
The food was delicious. However, they took it purely symbolically: coffee, cake, freshly squeezed juice. The price is expensive... Multiply the price tag in other restaurants by about 2-3 times. The service is pleasant, but unobtrusive. The interior, in my opinion, is somewhat kitschy, but not annoying) Pleasant soft music was playing.
On May 27, 2023, we held a wonderful event! A reunion 30 years later! To say that I liked everything is to say nothing. We were delighted with the service, the wonderful dishes, the excellent staff and the kindest atmosphere! Everything was at the highest level!
I want to say right away that this is one of the most expensive restaurants in Tashkent. Great interior. The restaurant is located in a historic building. The historical mosaic has been preserved.
We came to have lunch with friends. Half of the menu is missing. There is no pilaf, no kebabs, no samsa, etc. We ate what we had. The mantas are great, the salads are good. The local vodka is good, but unreasonably expensive.
Most of all, what angered me was the long service and dirty tablecloths.
If you have extra money, of course go, if not, then no.
The menu has not been surprising for a long time... everything is like everyone else's. Only at a relatively higher price. The atmosphere is more relaxed than in the neighboring Poppy. I am pleased with the live music
Delicious , beautiful , hospitable ! Every time we visit Tashkent, we go to this restaurant, for the most delicious Lagman, which is prepared in front of your eyes!
Good food, bar, pleasant atmosphere and interior. The location is good, almost in the center. But the prices bite a bit. The dress code is an excellent solution for this institution. But there are better places)
Great location
Everything is in the national style
But I would like to refresh the interior
It's already been worn out)
The check is above average (who is interested)
The kitchen has remained the same, the best lagman is being prepared
In fact, the Makom bar is the best place where you can make an appointment to discuss important issues with pleasant music, and spend time with friends or family so as to enjoy the atmosphere, music and a warm evening
A legendary restaurant!
An exquisite place in a gorgeous park!
I strongly recommend that the guests of Tashkent visit this place!
Polite staff!
The atmosphere of the fabulous East!!!
We came there on the recommendation of Heads and Tails, but were a little disappointed. We ordered a table in advance, but in fact we offered chairs and a low coffee table. For dinner. Well, not ice. A normal table was won back, then problems with the menu began. This is not there, that is not there, these dishes are only on pre-order. From what I saw in the program, I couldn't try anything, although I was going for it. I must pay tribute, the restaurant is not bad. The cuisine is very tasty and varied. The bull's tail, for example, pleased me. There are problems with wine there too. They offer only their own production of white wines of fairly average quality. There are supposedly no imported dry wines at all.
We visited the restaurant for the first time 2 years ago, in 2019, in the summer. We were the only guests that evening, despite the day off. After that dinner, the best impressions remained, both from the atmosphere of the restaurant itself, its design, and from the variety and quality of the dishes served. Noodles for Lagman were made in front of us in a transparent dome in the center of the hall and it was felt.
A couple of weeks ago, my family and I were back in Tashkent and decided to have dinner at this place. However, after this evening, we never set foot in this restaurant again.
More than 3/4 of the dishes were not available for order, and what they were able to bring fell significantly in quality. Noodles were replaced with purchased ones, mutton with mushrooms was brought heavily salted, in the salad 2 times I met the tips from zucchini.
The staff is slow and forgetful - you need to be reminded several times about the simplest things, like juice or other drinks. He confused us and tried to convince us that Glenmorangie is a red wine.
The menu is strange- it is made without illustrations, so you need to guess about the appearance of the dish yourself. The waiter could not explain the appearance clearly. There is not a single dish from the grill.
If we talk about the bar card, then of the 7 whiskey varieties presented, there is only one - in a non-whole bottle. They could only offer warm vodka.
In general, in this place, there is an obvious problem with refrigeration units, since water without gas, as well as soda, was brought at room temperature. For all the time, we were able to bring only one mini-bucket with ice (about 7-8 standard cubes), then interruptions began with it too.
You can not count on the time of serving dishes indicated in the menu, but safely multiply by the factor x2. The cheese plate was carried for about 30 to 40 minutes. "Instant" drinks, like regular water, take about 10 minutes. We did not wait for the French fries, apparently, they went to the Farhad bazaar to get them.
A decent ending to the evening was the suddenly broken card payment terminal, and neither Visa nor MasterCard worked, which we used everywhere the day before. The cash withdrawn for immediate expenses on the market was saved.
The place is legendary, one can say historical. In the Soviet years, it was possible to have a delicious and quite affordable lunch with kebabs and sausages there (grandma and grandpa told me). And now prices have become quite biting, respectively, and not everyone can go there. But most of the guests of the capital, especially those who are visiting us for the first time, consider it their duty to visit the famous Blue Domes. The facade of the building itself remained the same as in the Soviet years. The landmark is being carefully restored. In summer, the design of the summer veranda looks very interesting. Even if the budget does not allow you to have dinner there, but you always want to walk past. It's very beautiful.
One of the oldest institutions in Tashkent, whose history dates back to the USSR.
Unfortunately, apart from legends, the institution currently does not represent anything (subjectively) . The pretentious gloss of the 2000s era, with excessively inflated prices. There are plenty of modern establishments with excellent cuisine in the city
Spoiled architecture and the concept of a "popular" institution.
The beautiful iconic architecture for the city and time has been redone several times during the noughties and today represents kitsch from modernism, high-tech and exotic (oriental?) The Baroque is of low quality.
Monstrous cuisine: European, Oriental, Chinese and Japanese cuisines are presented. It is clear that they want to please everyone, but it is impossible to choose something to taste, you get tired of wading through a huge menu. High prices, which is understandable (see Exotic Baroque).
The sad fact is that it is unlikely that an institution or a place will be sold for sane money to a competent investor, and it is unlikely that the current owner will redo it for something good, human. This means that the place will remain empty and lost.
I fell for it and went there for old times' sake. I won't talk about the interior. For me, it's the bordellero of the noughties. But this is subjective.
I'll tell you the truth: they gave 105,600 soums (628 rubles) for 2 cappuccinos. The grain is stale. The check was not given. The price tag turns out to be like a Starbucks. At the same time, there is fresh Arabica, and here is exhausted grain. There is a reason why this institution is bypassed.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
Excellent food, but disgusting service, I would especially like to mention Dmitry Nesmeyanov. He was rude first-class , for some reason, due to the fact that their payment terminal is broken, the client is to blame for not having cash with him. And he asks to transfer all the souls to his personal card account. How's that?
The impression has deteriorated. The service is solid 2.
What can I write, everyone knows this gorgeous place. An interesting delicious dolma. Everything else is excellent too.
The center, there is a park around and then you can walk.
I recommend tourists to avoid this place. The bill for 2 mediocre cappuccinos: 105,000 soums. It tastes cooked from old grain. They refused to accept payment with the MIR card, but, of course, they did not give a check. They paid in silence and left. Nearby in the Tashkent hotel, coffee is cheaper, better and their kindergarten is very cozy, and the service is with a smile.

These are not the Blue Domes that we used to know. You can't eat here like before. This is an expensive pretentious place with questionable cuisine, with the absence of barbecue, pilaf, samsa. And never take their own brand of vodka here if you want to be healthy!
Only the interior for 5!
