I have been a regular customer at may for 4 years now, and I have given 5 tools there. And for painting, and replacing frets, electronics, tuning, alignment of the neck geometry. Everything was done perfectly. In order not to wait a long time, it is better to make an appointment in the repair queue in advance.

I gave the guitar away for repainting in early September. There were many people who advised the guys, as conscientious professionals with a clear job.
We agreed on a deadline of 2-3 months. They shook hands.
After the agreed deadlines, I urgently needed to leave the country for 2 months: that is, the guys managed to + 2 months by the deadline while I was away.
What was my surprise when, after almost half a year of waiting, I was told that they hadn't even taken the job. The guitar was actually in storage. Curate orders and contact your customers if something went wrong, apparently "May guitar" is not running.

Шчыра дзякую камандзе May за рамонт маёй гітары. На маёй электраакустыцы не працаваў датчык. Звяртаўся да некалькіх майстроў, але безвынікова. І толькі ў May мне нарэшце ясна растлумачылі прычыны няспраўнасці і прапанавалі некалькі рашэнняў.
У выніку спыніліся на вырабу новай платы ўзгаднення п’ез. Хлопцы з May вырабілі новую плату, адстроілі гітару, замянілі парог.
Вялікі рэспект камандзе за падыход да працы і выкананне складаных тэхнічных рашэнняў. І за прыемную камунікацыю. Вельмі раю!

About 5 years ago, I applied to MAY and never felt the desire to apply anywhere else. The guys know their business and love it, they do everything related to guitars: from rebuilding an existing one to making a new one. You will always be listened to, all wishes will be taken into account, something will be advised and all questions will be answered. If you break in and take the tool yourself, they will pick it up and bring it back. The old damaged J&D bass was updated and repaired. Next, I gave the new electroacoustics for tuning and routine inspection. Both guitars are now pleasing not only to the eyes, but also to the hands. I'm playing for myself. I consider the price for maintenance to be adequate. The masters can explain what they do and how. It's especially nice that they don't do unnecessary work. Initially, it was said that some adjustment would be needed on electroacoustics. In the process, it turned out that it was not needed. As a result, they called and warned that the service would be cheaper than planned. All works and prices for them are agreed upon in advance. So you can always assess whether you fit into the budget.

I recently decided to play guitar again, but I discovered that the soundboard on my Takamine guitar was cracked. Apparently, the tool does not forgive storage in conditions of low humidity. An unpleasant rattling sound appeared. I decided to contact the MAY specialists. During the acceptance of the guitar for repair, it was found that the thresholds needed to be corrected. I waited a month for the repair to be completed, but the result was worth it. The instrument sounded better than before, when it was still new. I would like to note that the owners of the workshop are real fans of their business and enjoy bringing musical instruments back to life. I contacted the guys about a year ago. I want to thank the MAY workshop for the excellent work! I went there with my ibanez, which I have had for 13 years. There were minor repairs, polishing of frets and so on, but it's time for a major overhaul. In addition to the unevenly erased frets, there were many other related problems: the belt mount from below loosened, the self-tapping screw no longer held there, the screws for adjusting Floyd's beaker slipped, the mounting place for the sensors also loosened (as a result, threaded bushings were put there! I advise everyone!), the bands quickly faded and did not sound. The frets were already under replacement, I chose steel for myself, so that it would last for a long time. At the place in the workshop, they also found out that the neck angle needs to be adjusted.
All problems have been fixed! We consulted, showed, and told you about all the issues. As a result, my stick gained a second life, I was very satisfied!
The only disadvantage is that I had to wait a long time for my turn for repairs, the guys have a lot of work, and if someone needs to do something urgently, it's only for an additional fee. I had a decent total amount for repairs, so I couldn't afford to pay the guys for the urgency, I had to wait. But the wait was worth it!
I recommend it to everyone!
P.S. Yes, I'm from Brest myself. I had heard so much about the MAY workshop that I decided to bother and send the guitar from Brest there, which I never regretted

I gave the LTD M-100FM for comprehensive maintenance after ten years of standing in the closet (grinding frets, adjusting the height of the toplock, tuning floyd, beakers, installing a tremolo stabilizer, additional shielding, etc.).
