The sculpture Mother Armenia, dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War, is located in Akhtanak Park on a high point in the center of Yerevan. There is a small museum inside the pedestal. Children's attractions are available in the park in summer.
The park is stunning in its beauty. What is not there. There are very few people, while all the excursions are open, and the attractions are also open. There are a lot of interesting things in the park
The park itself is not very good. There is a good observation deck at the monument to Mother Armenia. Mount Ararat is visible in good weather. You can walk to the top of the cascade and go down (there are escalators inside the cascade). The monument can be photographed, there is enough space.
An impressive panorama of the city, a majestic monument. Over the past year, the park has been gradually transformed, attempts are visible to put it in order, a new modern Ferris wheel has appeared
The museum is open to the public for free. The exposition is small, there are text inserts in Russian and English, the main captions are in Armenian. The area around is majestic, with excellent views of the city and Ararat.
A shelf with a museum inside, and around it masterpieces of Soviet military equipment: mig-19, Katyusha, t-34, BMP.
Stella stands on the square, on the edge of a cliff with a picturesque view of the center of Yerevan.
An eternal flame burns on the side of the square.
Earlier, instead of a woman with a sword, there was Stalin on this pedestal
It's an amazing place, it makes you cry! It will take a lot of time to restore order in the territory, it is poorly maintained.
The country should be ashamed that no budget is allocated for such greatness!
