No hot water and the staff lie to you. I told the staff that my hot water was not working. One member of staff pretended that he had fixed it whilst his colleague reminded him in Russian that the gas was broken. Really poor experience.

It's not a bad hotel. The staff is friendly. Every time you pass by the counter, they stand up and say hello. :) Funny. We lived on the ground floor, next to the swimming pool and gym. I've never seen anyone enter the gym, except for the cleaning lady. The room was clean and tidy. The view of the courtyard of a private house is very unusual and cute. :) You can follow the lives of ordinary Samarqanders. :) The only thing was that the window was not tightly closed and it whistled and was cool in a strong wind, but the air conditioner, which also works for heat, helped out. We cleaned every day. If you leave a tip, then they don't regret deodorant or whatever they use there at all: you come in the evening - the smell is worth it, it hurts your eyes. The smell is pleasant, but it should still be in moderation! :) The buffet is pleasant, nothing unusual, everything is quite standard: scrambled eggs, sausages, samsa, porridge, sweets, yoghurts, sliced, tea from a kettle, coffee from a coffee machine, juice. The hotel is conveniently located, and Registan is a 15-minute walk away. In general, I recommend it. :)

The hotel is conveniently located, all the main attractions are within walking distance, or a couple of minutes by taxi. The rooms are clean, fresh towels, drinking water in 0.5ml bottles. The room has a kettle, iron and ironing board, TV, hair dryer. There is shampoo and shower gel, body lotion and disposable toothbrushes. The reception staff is polite and helpful. Breakfasts from 8 to 10 are not very diverse, but there is a choice for breakfast quite well, oatmeal porridge, national pastries are delicious, yogurt in cups from the store, pancakes, pancakes, tea, coffee from the coffee machine. The negative point is a fairly strong audibility, but they only slept in the room and if you are unlucky with the neighbors, you can hear fun and weak water pressure, but perhaps this is the problem of the whole of Samarkand. But in general, everything is good, both from the hotel and from Samarkand itself.

Good location, 10 min. to the airport, it doesn't look like a big hotel, but in the courtyard there is even a swimming pool, a small fitness room, a very varied breakfast, a rooftop restaurant with a good view, there is a restaurant/banquet hall on the ground floor. The staff is friendly.

In early September, we came on a trip to Uzbekistan and stayed at this hotel while in Tashkent. The hotel left only pleasant impressions. Upon check-in, we were met by a pleasant young man (the director or the owner of the hotel) who helped with the bags and was always polite and courteous on other days. The rest of the staff is also polite. The price of our room included breakfast, which consisted of a buffet very varied and delicious for any preference. The room had everything you needed and even access to YouTube on the TV. The shower room had the necessary hygiene products. I recommend this hotel 👍🏻

As a travel company, we have received negative feedback from our guests who stayed at the Medina Hotel. Despite the convenient location, the service leaves much to be desired. The staff was not friendly and did not provide proper attention. The rooms were quite noisy, and the cleanliness left many questions. Many of our tourists also noted uncomfortable beds and insufficient noise insulation, which made the rest less comfortable.

We were in Samarkand for two days. I really liked the hotel for its services, the room and, of course, the breakfast. Breakfast is for every taste and porridge, and samsa, and vegetables and cakes, and dietary and not so much. And after the 40 degree heat, the pool with 19 degree water was very refreshing and you could swim until 11 pm. After swimming, we sat at a table and immediately ordered a barbecue, had dinner. A decent hotel for its price.

Nice hotel, with big rooms and big beds. There are bathrobes, slippers, and hygiene kits in the room.

There is an outdoor pool in the courtyard, you can swim in hot weather.

A new hotel, everything is clean, beautiful, in bright colors, pleasant and courteous staff. Convenient location, Registan is a 10-minute walk away. The rooms had large beds, comfortable mattresses. There is a gym and a swimming pool - small, clean, but with cold water. But in the heat, it really saves. Many complain about breakfast reviews. Maybe there was something missing in the season. On the dates of our visit, everything was in abundance! Booked in advance because of the convenient location (close to the train station and nearby attractions).
Upon arrival in Samarkand, using Yandex taxi, we went to the hotel. But as it turned out, there has never been such a hotel on Uzbekistanskaya Street (and according to local residents, 10 tourists a day are looking for this hotel there). After spending an hour on the road (round trip), but we could have walked from the train station, we still reached the hotel. The reception does not know why they have two points marked on the maps with the hotel (and with the same photos). I hope that the hotel will take measures and will not mislead tourists.
There were no problems with the placement, they settled in quickly, paid on the spot with a card.
So, we got a room 406 on the 4th floor.
In general, everything is fine, we needed to spend one night. The plans were to walk around the city, get enough sleep and go to Moscow with a calm soul.
The room is clean, well maintained, everything is there. The beds and pillows are comfortable. TV and tea set.
Everything would have been perfect, BUT we couldn't sleep! Already at 11 p.m., we suspected something was wrong. The Windows overlook private houses and there is a dog there that is not small. She barked all night, rattled the chain, threw herself. These are not one-time barks, but non-stop barking!!! This is terrible!!!

A very beautiful complex with magnificent buildings, extraordinary cleanliness, everything is blooming, birds are singing, people are relaxing. There is a patio where it is cool to sit in the evening. There is also a swimming pool where you can always take a dip and refresh yourself on a hot day. The room is nice, everything is clean and cozy. The room has air conditioning, which is not a little important for this region. Very tasty breakfasts: porridge, scrambled eggs are standard, but there are many local dishes: samsa, chebureks, a lot of fruits and berries: watermelon, melon, cherries, apricots, plums. The location is good, in the old town, to Registan 20-25 minutes on foot. There are restaurants, cafes, shops, pharmacies around, it's easy to call a taxi.

An impossibly hard mattress, several layers of blankets were laid, but it was difficult to sleep. The absolutely incomprehensible presence of a window between the room and the bathroom, a full-length window, blinds do not normally close, everything can be seen what is happening in the bathroom, this is a huge minus of the hotel.
It's not 4 stars, in general, the price is too high.

A wonderful hotel in an authentic part of the city. There are many places nearby where you can eat real Uzbek cuisine, including the hotel restaurant itself. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the hotel has a beautiful small pool. The staff is super - responsive and in a hurry to help with any question. Registan is 10 minutes away along the most authentic city streets. We will definitely choose this hotel next time we arrive.

Clean, tidy, good breakfasts on the veranda, there is a restaurant for lunch and dinner (although there was nothing sweet in it, which is sad), a very compact gym, the pool is rather decorative. A little upset by the view of garbage bags constantly looming behind the pool))) but if you walk a lot, then there is no time to look at the packages. Registan is a 20-minute walk away. There are many cafes nearby, there is a small market, shops, a bank. It is not difficult to reach the main tourist points.

The Medina Hotel Samarkand is a really good new hotel. The location of the hotel is within reasonable walking distance from many historical attractions of Samarkand. We were pleased with the cleanliness, order in the hotel, the service, the very kind and attentive attitude of all the staff of the hotel staff. The hotel team is well done, working for 5+. Good afternoon! We stayed at the hotel 01.05-02.05. The first impression is very pleasant. The interior is very beautiful. Very pleasant staff at the restaurant, delicious price with reasonable prices. Very tasty breakfasts. Plus, we were settled ahead of time. The whole impression was spoiled by the reception staff. The air conditioner in the room did not work, they asked to fix it 5 times. To no avail. The water was running from the sink, and no one fixed it either. And in the end, we asked for breakfast with us, as we were leaving at 5 a.m. But we were told that they would not collect anything.

We were settled ahead of time, because the room was ready. We lived on the 1st floor, there are no complaints about sound insulation. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied: cheese and cold cuts, sandwiches with caviar, pancakes without filling, with cottage cheese and meat, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, several types of pies and buns, baked pumpkin and vegetables, milk porridge, nuts and dried fruits, an abundance of fruits-tangerines, pomegranate, persimmon, apples, pears, watermelon, melon, grapes. I have not listed everything. Custard tea and coffee from the coffee machine. There are a lot of desserts and sweets for tea. The hotel has its own restaurant, a very decent level! You can have lunch and dinner.
Drinking water in the room, if necessary, was taken additionally at the reception. The room has an iron, ironing board, safe, kettle, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers. In the courtyard there is a swimming pool and a gym. The room was cleaned daily. The only problem was the lack of a hair conditioner, I forgot my own at home (The staff solved all the issues at once. The hotel is well located-all historical sites and the bazaar were within walking distance. In good weather, we walked with pleasure! The trip left a pleasant impression. A new luxury hotel, with a beautiful interior, the rooms are magnificent, but the Internet did not work everywhere. The staff is friendly and helpful. Meals (breakfasts) were a buffet, but with a large influx of people, the food quickly ran out, they did not have time to replenish the plates. By location, the sights are scattered in different parts of the city, some were close, some were far away. We traveled by taxi very inexpensively, so we did not feel any inconvenience.

I was surprised by the presence of a kettle, iron and ironing board, as well as a safe. Both in the room and in the hallway there are air conditioners. A TV with the ability to access YouTube. Tea, coffee, sugar and water were also constantly replenished. The interior is refined in an oriental way, but also without intrusive overkill. A magnificent swimming pool. And the most important plus is simply luxurious breakfasts. The variety of dishes, fruits, drinks, and sweets is excellent.
The location of the hotel is also optimal. We took a taxi from the airport and walked to the city center in 10 minutes.

The guys at the reception are very friendly, they will always help you with everything! But breakfast is something ... the choice is not great and not tasty. On the second day, they did not go to breakfast, because they were hungry on the first day.
