I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. From 2 to 4 September. The impressions are negative. Firstly, the room is old, antediluvian. There is only one towel, there is no towel even for the hands, a dirty rag is thrown on the floor for the feet. There is an air conditioner, but it is old and the effect of it is small. The staff is rude. There is no power supply. Everyone is not happy with something. The only plus is the sea nearby, shops. The cost per day for one is 3500 . I do not recommend it. It is better to remove the private sector. There's a lot of giving up and the attitude is much better.

The rooms are of course so-so, photos are naturally always better, but they correspond to reality, they just do not show shabbiness and dilapidation, the locals say that before it was knowledge of the military enlistment office, the green carpet somehow even hints at this)) even if it is new, but the color palette of the military enlistment office)) 4400 per night, the mattresses are old, some springs press, but you get used to it in a week)) there is no mat or foot towel in the bathroom to get out of the shower, but we have resolved the issue. there are 2 mugs. there is an air conditioner, but the filter has not been changed there for a hundred years, this gives off a smell of dampness and mustiness, we put it on fan mode and rarely cooling. at night, the light is steadily turned off for 2 hours, sometimes less, but here, in general, the problem in Abkhazia is with electricity, although this can be solved already, but individually by each house / hotel. There's a big stain on the carpet, half the room. there are large gaps between the doors and the door frame, so the audibility is low, especially in the morning when children are having fun at sea))) the doors are still military enlistment office for sure)) rooms for 3 are a stretch, but we did not have high hopes, so in general everything is OK.
there is a kitchen and a veranda, but we did not cook anything, 2 comforts in total and the guests drag the dishes to the rooms, spoons, forks, pots))
it is not far to the sea, but it is better to walk further from the Ferris wheel, towards the old old Gagra, tk from the hotel Abkhazia and further large hotels too, drains go from them right here in the sea.
everything is nearby - grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes. the location is on 5.
the staff is friendly, polite and hospitable, also on 5.
there is a cafe in the hotel, they cook to order according to the menu, on 3.
in general, we would not go back)) there are always plenty of guests, so the issue of renovation and renovation of the premises can be solved))

The employees are polite. There is parking.
Cons: there are no creams for drying swimsuits, a rug in the shower, all the water on the floor! There are only mugs and a refrigerator in the room, no kettle or spoons!
The air conditioner worked perfectly, the tinted windows saved from the sun.
It seems there is a kitchen for cooking, but we did not use it, as we found out about it on the last day.
In general, I recommend it!

We had a rest on the weekend from June 10th to 12th. The receptionist Angelica greeted us warmly. She suggested where to eat, how to move around the city. The hotels have a buffet where you can cook your own food, a veranda. The windows of the room overlooked the backyard, the view from the window was stunning to the mountains, birdsong. The room is clean. The hotel is located near the sea, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to it. I recommend a place to stay

One of the advantages is the location.
In the photos, the hotel is in good condition, an old building in life.
Often there are problems with the transformer, low power, the light is turned off for a long time, the TV was without an antenna, the water is heated by the boiler, so we washed in cold water, we couldn't cook anything myself due to poor voltage, the hotel cafe is not very good, the Internet is roaming, Wi-Fi barely pulls.
If they put you under the roof, then pair up, the air conditioner will not help, especially when there is no light

We rested at the Mega Hotel from August 8-10, 2023, and planned to rest from 8 to 16. We couldn't stand it anymore. This is one name for a hotel. The smell of mold is just terrible. We open the windows to ventilate the room, a horde of mosquitoes flies in. There are no mosquitoes. It seems to have become easier to install the raptor, so another problem is the constant power outage. Raptor doesn't help. The furniture is very old and shabby. Springs are sticking out of the mattress. There is no shower holder in the shower. Hold the shower with one hand and wash with the other. All the water is on the floor. There is no rag to wipe the floor either. The TV is only for the interior-it does not work. And the kitchen is generally terrible. The furniture is ruined, the dishes are old, and there are very few of them.. There is practically no Wi-Fi. On the first day, we couldn't call anywhere. Then, with great difficulty and interference, they somehow got through to their relatives. There was no electricity for several hours. There was no such thing in other nearby houses. We addressed the hostess with questions about these inconveniences, the reaction was very unpleasant. When I read the negative reviews about this hotel, I didn't really believe it. I thought people were moody. And now I'm surprised at those who write rave reviews about this hotel. In short, I do not advise anyone. Ruin your vacation like we did. It's good that we left there. And this is not just my opinion. I talked to some vacationers from this hotel, they also responded. I have vacationed in Abkhazia many places, but this is the first time I have seen such an outrage in a hotel and a terrible attitude towards vacationers.

Good day everyone! We rested at this hotel from 06/16/22 to 06/25/22. Of the advantages :
Not far from the airport., about 40km , located in the center of old Gagra , 1.5- 2 minutes to the sea at a calm pace, does not bother at all. There are good grocery stores nearby, I really liked the "Delicatessen", it opens early. For the picky, cafes and canteens are also not far away (although prices change every day)! The market is a 10-minute walk down the same street . The hotel has an open veranda where you can have a snack and sit in the evening, and you can cook everything in the kitchen, where everything you need is available, almost like at home, very convenient, overlooking the street and a piece of the sea!
The rooms are ordinary without frills, cleaning on Request, towels can be changed at will!
But the biggest plus of this hotel is, of course, the Administrator!
My name is Angelica, she will always tell you and show you everything, solves all problems and questions (she will change the room if she doesn 't like it, choose for yourself ),very responsive and hospitable ! In general, a very positive person, THANK her very much!
But , as it was , we had a good rest , not Turkey , of course , but it will go !

The service is not provided by the program at the hotel. We change the towels ourselves, if necessary. We take out the garbage in a bag at the reception.
No one will enter the room at all while you are resting) so with the cleaning, alas.
There is a refrigerator in the room. It's good.
Take the fumigator. Mosquitoes are flying from the street. There is an air conditioner, but if you want fresh air (the air in the room is musty), then you need to open the window.
The Windows overlook either the street or the mountains and the unfinished house.
The furniture was patched, of course, but at least the linen was clean and ironed.
In general, it's up to you. If it is important to you that it is good and beautiful, then I do not recommend a hotel.

But there was no reaction from the hostess of this hotel..from the word at all!
