A gorgeous place with a history, we had tremendous pleasure, even bought a scarf of unreal quality. I advise everyone to hold events here, definitely your guests will be 100% satisfied!
It feels like we're back in history. We were very touched to hear the sad story, especially of the carpet that was divided into two parts, and the dinner at the restaurant is very tasty and soulful!!!I rarely drink vodka in unfamiliar places, but here their author's vodka exceeded all my expectations!
My family and I visited this museum on the recommendation of friends and were completely delighted!!! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot of amazing facts about Armenian carpets! We were given a chance to participate in the manufacture of the carpet and had an incredibly interesting tour!
We had a great friend's anniversary! We made lavash ourselves, saw the barbecue dance, tasted the gorgeous Armenian cuisine, and all this at the carpet museum! An unforgettable evening!
What a touching story the carpet had, which was divided into two parts.
The only thing I didn't like was the attitude of the employee, different prices are called for the same carpet.I was thinking of buying 8000 dollars for me and seven for my friends .That's why I changed my mind about taking it.Be vigilant, prices are taken from the head.
I recommend. It is possible to visit only with a guided tour. Booking on the website in advance. The duration is only half an hour, but it's interesting. During the tour, you will be able to see various carpets, carpet dyes, tell the manufacturing technology, visit the workshop where the craftsmen weave carpets.
The story of the carpet being cut in half has sunk into my soul very much. During the Armenian Genocide, the mother cut the carpet in half and gave it to her two daughters. In case they get lost, they will be able to find each other using these tips. And so it happened. The sisters were found 50 years later. And they gave these halves to the museum.
An amazing place! A very interesting tour of the factory, with a visit to the production facilities, as well as the museum of antique carpets. It was great to see the craftsmen live, who so diligently create stunning carpets by hand. And the cherry on the cake was a personal acquaintance with the owner of the factory, Raffi Megarian, who kindly agreed to take a picture with me.
An interesting place, I recommend you to look if you are in Yerevan. I was especially impressed by the walk around the workshop, it was very interesting to watch the work of the craftsmen. It is expensive to see the process of creating carpets live
We signed up on the website for an excursion at a specific time (06.05 at 12.00), as a result, we did not get on it
They came, waited 25 minutes at the checkpoint, the guard couldn't really say anything, just "wait, I called." After 25 minutes they just left, because it is unclear how much more they had to wait (and this is with a tour of only 30 minutes).
At the same time, when the foreigners came, they were immediately taken on an excursion.
The most strange place, the service is zero
We went on an excursion to the Megerian carpet factory on March 6 with a second-grader child. I liked everything: friendly staff, competent guide, atmosphere, interior, peace and quiet! I recommend it to everyone, you will really see the process of carpet weaving by hand!
I recommend you to take a look here for an excursion! (you need to sign up for it in advance) They told the story, showed the production at the moment and an exhibition of ready-made carpets with a variety of drawings and patterns!
A great tour and an impressive carpet factory! Inside there are production facilities and a museum with many exhibits. All carpets are handmade, the variety of patterns and the painstaking work of the craftsmen are amazing! Very beautiful carpets, there are also cute photo zones. I recommend you to visit!
A workshop for the manufacture of carpets in the traditional manual way for Armenia, in which they decided to create a museum and, in fact, a public space.
It is definitely worth visiting and studying how women painstakingly weave carpets.
A very interesting tour of the factory. They will tell the story, show the carpet production process. You don't need to sign up, just come and tell me what you want to see) 3000 drams per person (~750₽)
You need to make an appointment for the tour in advance by phone on the website. The tour takes place very quickly, a maximum of 30 minutes. At the end, they bring you to a store where you can buy a carpet. The price is 3000 AMD per person (600 rubles)
We got to this factory-museum, which is called "from the street", without booking an excursion in advance, obviously violating the work schedule of the staff. Nevertheless, we were greeted as guests who, according to the canons of oriental hospitality, should not be denied anything. We were shown the painstaking work of the craftsmen, who for many months, without straightening, manually create real paintings from patterns filled with ancient magical meaning! It is amazing that in our time there are still crafts that cannot be replaced by any soulless machine labor! And then we were taken to the carpet museum, where each exhibit is more than 100 years old! Many are associated with family legends and even tragedies. The story about this is impressive!
A very informative, unusual tour, I recommend it to everyone (just register in advance)!
I was on an excursion with my family. I really liked it, we learned a lot of facts about carpet making. For example, scientists have proved that the most ancient carpet kept in the Hermitage is Armenian!
I did not expect it, delight, beauty
We arrived without an appointment, waited 5 minutes
And we are in the museum
I advise you to make an appointment in advance
We were just lucky
Thanks to Leonid👍👍🤝🤝
To book a tour, you need to call and inform the number of guests. The appearance of the entrance is questionable, but when you find yourself inside, the surrounding atmosphere takes your breath away. We really enjoyed the tour!
A wonderful factory
High quality products
+ there is an opportunity to see the production
The tour completely immerses you in the process and opens up completely unobvious facts about carpets
I was invited to an event. The restaurant is part of the program) There is also a unique carpet-making museum. We had a nice time. Friendly service, excellent cuisine.

I need to sign up. You will only see the work of the craftsmen, neither the process of preparing the threads nor the coloring process will be shown. If you are interested in folk crafts, I recommend it. It would be great if a book on the history and meaning of carpet weaving with illustrations of Armenian patterns and their description were published.
A must-visit place. The history of carpet making, large rooms with works that you can buy, take pictures, see how they are made. It will be interesting for the whole family, then you can have a snack there.
I've never been to a carpet factory before. It is amazing how much work and perseverance it takes to create such beauty. Atmospheric. And the museum is wonderful, and the modern carpets are amazing. I didn't want to leave...
Stunning handmade carpets using ancient technologies made of natural wool with some natural dyes that do not fade for 500 years and can be passed down from generation to generation. Expensive. There is an interesting little museum. It's even worth just looking if you can't afford to buy or don't need to.
