It's very cool to stay in a caravanserai in Bukhara. You become even more imbued with the spirit and understanding of how everything was arranged before the revolution in this city. The breakfast is wonderful, the evenings spent on the balcony at a table on a bench with a soft seat and a pillow are very romantic and pleasant! I would add a couple more such tables with benches to the second floor. Everything in the rooms corresponds to the spirit of that time, authentic. The mattresses are good, I slept like a baby! I was surprised by the lack of a closet or something to put things in, but then I realized that tourists come for a day or two and there is no desire or need to put them out of the suitcase. Unlike in those days, there is a shower and toilet in the room, and I think the owners are improving it too, as well as the caravanserai itself. After all, almost everything was destroyed in Bukhara, and thanks to the guys who are engaged in restoration, and this is not to build, but what can be preserved, they preserve, so it is thanks to them that we have an idea and enjoy what we are going there for. Special thanks to the guy at the reception that we remember with great warmth during the day, and thank you for taking a tour of the wonderful room at the entrance. I highly recommend this hotel. Even though there are so many guests!
Actually, I should have read the reviews earlier, and not when the NVS was already being driven in a car from the station with the words: there are no places, we will take you to another hotel.
We put together a combo: we were taken to another hotel, and our confirmed booking was postponed a year in advance, and we took some murky amount with local taxes, we counted 2k rubles less, but at that moment it didn't matter. We spent half a day chatting with Booking support, they returned the booking dates, we also left a review there (otherwise we wouldn't have been able to!!! They would either cancel it, or you just can't leave a review, you haven't been there, like, not yet in 2026!).
The new Ohun Hotel was really nice, but it's cheaper and just stupidly wrong!
*Hell, we've Googled the price of it right now, that's how much we've been shod....
In general, despite all the confirmations, you'll only find out if you're settled or not. Whether you're willing to take the risk is up to you.
We booked 3 rooms in 2 months through booking. We arrived on April 11, but they say your reservation is missing. Konda was shown the booking at the booking office, and in the end they said that there were only 2 rooms and one room could only be given at a nearby hotel. We refused because we came with a company and it is completely unclear why we have to live in different hotels when we booked rooms for as much as 2 months.
The inside of the hotel is dirty, and the hotel itself is on the road. It's not an old town, it's a long way from the old town.
Don't waste your time, don't take any chances and book rooms here.
Ps- As a result, we were in a hurry looking for places for a large company, we stayed at the Bibi Khanum hotel in the old town. The hostess of the hotel is super, the rooms are great, close to the center
