It's very cool to stay in a caravanserai in Bukhara. You become even more imbued with the spirit and understanding of how everything was arranged before the revolution in this city. The breakfast is wonderful, the evenings spent on the balcony at a table on a bench with a soft seat and a pillow are very romantic and pleasant! I would add a couple more such tables with benches to the second floor. Everything in the rooms corresponds to the spirit of that time, authentic. The mattresses are good, I slept like a baby! I was surprised by the lack of a closet or something to put things in, but then I realized that tourists come for a day or two and there is no desire or need to put them out of the suitcase. Unlike in those days, there is a shower and toilet in the room, and I think the owners are improving it too, as well as the caravanserai itself. After all, almost everything was destroyed in Bukhara, and thanks to the guys who are engaged in restoration, and this is not to build, but what can be preserved, they preserve, so it is thanks to them that we have an idea and enjoy what we are going there for. Special thanks to the guy at the reception that we remember with great warmth during the day, and thank you for taking a tour of the wonderful room at the entrance. I highly recommend this hotel. Even though there are so many guests!
It is a very atmospheric place, caring people work, everything is there that you need to spend the night. The location of the fire. Delicious breakfast, there was hot water. I want to update a little bit on the little things: like the curtain in the bathroom fell, the nail on which the toilet paper holds too, knock out the dust, the Wi-Fi signal is better.
We lived on the second floor, the stairs are steep, but it's an adventure and it's cool that there is also a place to sit in the evening. They were constantly ventilated, because when they checked in, there was stagnant air in the room. When the construction site is finished nearby, it will be generally cool (but it was too much in the way)
Our first hotel on a trip to Uzbekistan, the city of Bukhara. Without further ado, after this hotel, the kind of guest accommodation that we liked in this beautiful country was drawn. In total, during the trip (8 nights), we (2 adults and 2 children) changed 4 hotels and remembered the first hotel with warm words. There is everything you need for sleep (you always slept well), breakfast in the morning, with the heat not yet set in - a whole ritual. It is very tasty, original and satisfying. There is always bottled drinking water (0.5) for guests in the refrigerator (the only disadvantage is to take the container later, I have a whole humorous review about the separate collection in Bukhara).
The hotel itself is a sight to see, very authentic (the hotel is more than 200 years old), compact (a kind of well house), inexpensive, located in the historic old town and very dear to the heart.
The only disadvantage of the hotel is the sooo slow administrator. To do something, you need to be reminded 10 times, and if you have agreed to meet exactly by the hour, you can safely go for a walk, he will come in an hour or two, or maybe not. :))
Well, in small things: the TV does not catch anything but exquisite white noise, the Wi-Fi is unhurried, the curtain in the bathroom is kept on prayers. But these are all really small things.
I strongly recommend everyone to stay at this excellent hotel, you will not regret it.
