It's a horror and a nightmare..
so many people died
This is a very good memorial complex with a lot of monuments and ruins of various structures. The gate of memory is the very center - people who are immured, and then they will be burned. There is a map of Trostenets, a bunch of different alleys. The gloomy sky, fog and the distant factory add to the horror.
There's a lot to see here, but it looks very scary.
Nearby, in the center of the village, there is an obelisk dedicated to the same events.
In general, it's scary and terrible, the complex itself is very good

There is a large memorial, destroyed buildings remain, the territory is well maintained, there are explanatory signs.
Everything is overshadowed by people who sunbathe in swimsuits on the territory of the memorial, including on the field where the ashes of the burned people were scattered. They also allow themselves to drink and eat on the territory, and the offspring of such non-humans throw stones into the ruins, jump on them like on a playground, children snap at comments, parents do not react... It is sad that the locals treat their history this way, I would say shameful.

The place is certainly interesting, but the feelings are certainly mixed. But it's an interesting idea, if you're not very sensitive, it's worth visiting and touching on a complicated story. There will be enough impressions for a long time.
