One of the best economic hotels in the city. Clean and nice. Unfortunately there's no swimming pool, but there is a Spa and gym. Friendly and gentle staff.

The hotel is perfectly located, inside the hotel there is also a very pleasant atmosphere, cozy rooms. The breakfasts are excellent. However, with all this, I could not get the air conditioner in the room to work for heating, and for two days I tried to keep warm by wrapping myself in two blankets. Also, there are no hygiene items in the rooms and everything must be requested separately every time. The desire to save money on the client can be covered up with any plausible pretexts, but this does not negate the fact itself.

Lovely hotel, very polite and friendly staff. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean.
Very comfortable beds, slept well for two nights.
The guys at the reception are very friendly and recommended local delicious restaurants. The delicious Kazakh restaurant Sandyq is just a stone's throw away.

I liked the hotel. We lived on the top floor. Great view of the mountains and the city. The rooms are clean and beautiful, cleaning is regular.
I didn't like the hammam and sauna. All the equipment is very tired in the spa. It is worth replacing torn towels in the spa.
The breakfasts are good, good, there is something to choose from, everything is delicious.
Overall, I really liked the 4-star hotel.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days, and I remember the second year.
The impression was amazing. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, everything is new and tidy.
Very nice staff!
The convenient location of the hotel, as everything is needed nearby.
I would like to mention the spa area separately. The massage is one of the best in my life. I did a facial massage and some kind of point-by-point massage and woke up in the morning as if it wasn't me.
The breakfasts are weak, but you can eat elementary things, you will not stay hungry.
I ordered dinner in the room, I'm not happy. But maybe something has changed in 2 years.)
Good Internet, stable.
Considering that I was still in a couple of hotels during my arrival and I liked it the most here.
In general, it is 9/10 (minus for food)

The service is at a decent level. The room is spacious and has everything you need. The food is also delicious and there is a large selection. There is a ski lift at the hotel - if you are there, take a ride. It's nice to walk around the hotel's territory :)
Of the cons, it's huge and in case of "unsuccessful check-in" you will have to turn kilometers, and of the pros, excellent cardio before breakfast, and in general :)

I really liked the hotel! The rooms are cozy. Large, comfortable, modern shower room. And panoramic windows on Almaty with an armchair and a table were my favorite place with a book!
The breakfast is good. Of its disadvantages for me, only tasteless and a small number of cheeses, as well as a shortage of high-quality meat and fish cuts.
It would be very good to fill the gym with more fitness equipment.
From what I especially want to highlight and what I liked - this is a very good job of maids and what is most pleasant - daily change of bed linen! Falling asleep every day on fresh, ironed linen is a real pleasure! Keep it up ! I have not seen this even in 5 stars of other hotels.

A charming hotel in the center of Almaty. Stylish, modern, without pathos, but with attention to the national heritage of Kazakhstan (patterns in the room, photos of local customs, sweets for breakfast). My room 905 was very spacious, in perfect condition, with stunning mountain views. The bathroom is very large with a stone-finished shower cabin. Linen, towels, bathrobe are the freshest. I really liked the breakfasts: fresh vegetables, omelets, cheesecakes, the right coffee in the right cups. But I especially want to mention the staff: young, friendly, with burning eyes. Wonderful emotions after two days at the hotel.
From the Mercure you can walk to many historical buildings, take a walk in the park.

Nice hotel. The food is delicious, but the choice is not too great. The rooms are clean and tidy, cleaning is daily! The location of the hotel is also cool! The only disadvantage is that early check-in is expensive) so it's better to throw things in the luggage room and go for a walk around the city! Nearby cafe Marmaris is a cool place, very inexpensive, and I recommend everyone to eat there!

Awesome, relatively new hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, we have been coming here for a long time for two years in a row. Cool, varied breakfasts, a very large SPA center on the top floor overlooking the city. There is a small gym with a couple of treadmills.

A wonderful hotel in everything: from the staff to the infrastructure. It is located in the city center. Within walking distance of the Arbat, the Ascension Cathedral (very beautiful both inside and outside!), a mosque, a Green Bazaar and shopping centers. We arrived in Almaty in the morning, were at the hotel around 10, asked if there was an opportunity to check us in before 15.00. Without any problems, they immediately provided us with a room without any additional charges, we also had time to have breakfast. The breakfasts are wonderful, everything is delicious and fresh. It is very fortunate that the duration of breakfast is until 10.30, and not until 10.00 as usual. The staff is very polite, helpful and pleasant. The room is very cozy, clean, renovated, fresh, modern. The bathroom is very stylish. The room is warm, despite the large windows. The hotel is very quiet, thanks to the door closers, you can not hear the slamming of the neighbors' doors. The sound insulation is very good. The beds are very comfortable, 4 pillows, a large double blanket. We had a great night's sleep! Please note that access to the spa is included in the room rate. You need to make an appointment in advance. We came in the evening after a long walk around the city, I wanted to relax, but the massage therapists were all busy. However, one masseuse agreed to stay and give us a foot massage. Excellent location of the spa on the 11th floor with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains. Thanks to such hotels, only positive memories remain about the city and the country as a whole. Thanks a lot to the hotel for this, there's just nothing to complain about. If we want to visit Almaty again, we will definitely stay only at this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. In general, everything is fine, the location is optimal for me, the rooms are also fine. The spa included in the rate is more than good if you do not use warm fonts (somewhat dirty, with floating hair). I didn't take breakfast. However, there were also such moments: during one of the arrivals, the television in the entire hotel did not work, I watched how many guests dealt with this problem at the reception. And my room was not completely cleaned up on one of my visits, the water cover remained from the other guests, and it lay there until my departure. And, of course, for regular guests of the hotel chain there are no additional bonuses in the form of early check-in.

For the network level, the Mercure is clearly not up to the mark.
Impressions:
1) breakfast is good, quite varied, everything is fresh
2) the air conditioner did not work in my room, then it was repaired, but it began to work only at a minimum temperature. Therefore, I had to turn it on/off all the time, because it was either hot and stuffy or terribly cold.
3) a hotel of this level must have excellent Internet access. But, unfortunately, the Internet is very bad here! I was unable to participate in several meetings:(
4) in the morning, we handed over the documents to the reception. In the evening, they searched for almost an hour to give them to me. This is, to say the least, very strange.

I spent 2 weeks at the Mercure hotel, and I have never regretted my choice of a hotel. From the first minute of my appearance, I felt the help and support of the excellent reception staff, who are ready to answer any questions and provide any assistance.
Room 403 is very beautiful, comfortable beds, conscientious daily cleaning.

It's a good gift, but in my opinion, the price does not match the quality level. The cost of this hotel is above the average level and at the time of booking the hotel was among the most expensive in Almaty, so the expectations were appropriate.
The hotel is located in the center, but I cannot appreciate the convenience of the location in the city. The rooms are large and clean. There is a large table that can be used as a full-fledged workplace. The bed is comfortable.
The view from the window probably depends on the part of the building. I was lucky - there were mountains.
Cons: there is no iron and ironing board in the room. They offered to bring it, but wait 40 minutes.
The breakfasts are good, but they definitely do not reach the level of the cost of living.

Breakfasts are varied, fresh vegetables and simple vegetable dishes are important to me, I always found what suits me, everything is fine with meat too.
