We have been vacationing in Bulgaria for many years in September. We are sincerely glad to come back to the Meridian Hotel. We vacationed there in 2019, and planned to do so in 2020. But Bulgaria opened to Russians only at the end of July 2021. I immediately began to resolve issues related to the implementation of my last year's voucher. Unfortunately, communication with the travel agency (booking by Booking) did not work out and I had to call the booking department directly at the hotel. They told me very kindly, very intelligibly and quickly how to act. The reservation was confirmed for the room I ordered. Superior room, large on the 10th floor under the restaurant. No problems with cleaning and towels. Minor issues were resolved promptly. I really liked the reception work. Speaking in Russian without any problems, friendly, despite our annoying questions. I can only say wonderful words about the restaurant. A diverse range of dishes, excellent quality. I really liked the turkey, fish, and liver. . If desired, it was possible to make an English breakfast, Unfortunately, only in recent days I discovered honey in honeycombs, and directly in the frame!!! And you could cut off the required size yourself. As in previous years, there are "national" days with tasting of raki, grappa, martinis..... Young guys from Russia, Ukraine, and Bulgaria worked in the restaurant. Everyone worked quickly, with knowledge of their duties, which is undoubtedly the merit of the leadership. And respectfully, calmly, they pointed out to me my forgetfulness in putting on a mask. I thank all the staff of this wonderful hotel. I hope to meet you next year.
