Expectation is reality. I've stayed at another hotel in the chain before - MeStyle Place, I had a nice room, it was cozy, and overall I liked it. And I understood the principle of these hotels: cool lobby and facade decor, and it seems like the design of corridors and rooms is in a single concept, but in the corridors and rooms everything ends with wall paintings or posters, quotes, so everything is quite primitive in fact implemented. The purpose of all these decorations is to draw attention to the hotel photo when booking. The service and rooms in these hotels are very basic, only if you don't care how you live at all, and it's okay.
This time I was in Bangkok for only two days, I thought that OK, like the Museum is more expensive than the first hotel in the chain (Place), which I visited, there should be better rooms. It was a mistaken assumption, the rooms at the MeStyle Museum are bad.
My room had a view of some parking nearby. The room was very loft-style (an unpainted cement fragment of the wall and a huge industrial air conditioner hanging from the ceiling, for example) - you need to have very strong nerves to live with such details in the room. It feels like the hotel was made out of some kind of building that wasn't really suitable for this (and the facade was painted red, and decorations were hung).
I had an early check-in after the plane, I wanted to check in and get some sleep, (I didn't get any sleep in the end).
There was no warm or hot water in the room, the shower hose was leaking, the water pressure in the shower was very weak, and the water had not warmed up. It was cold in the room (colder than outside), and the air conditioner was also only cold.
I called the reception desk and asked them to fix the shower. A technical employee came and went to the shower in his shoes, where the floor was wet. I asked him in English, "Are you going to clean my floor later?" He got a rag and started mopping the floor, wiping the water on the shower floor. He didn't understand English, only gestures. He did not know that he needed to fix the shower and did not find out)).
Anyway, I didn't get any sleep. As a result, word by word, the hotel employee said "pack your bags and get out", intending to set me up for a fine for a no-show at first, in the end he had to arrange a small show, and we agreed that I would leave with a full refund. I booked a hotel through Ozone. Ozon's staff promptly helped arrange a refund.
Seriously, the interior, rooms and service in this hotel are like that.. it's made on my fingers, it's a blunder, it's bad, I don't recommend it (the same MeStyle Place is better, although it seems to have fewer stars, but these stars are self-drawn, don't pay attention).
We do not recommend this hotel. The staff is friendly, but they steal shamelessly. They were rummaging through our stuff. Money was stolen. We do not recommend ordering a taxi at the hotel. It is twice as expensive and they have information about where and for how long you left. At this time, they come into your room and rummage through your things. The design of the hotel from a garbage dump. Obviously not a healthy designer designed it. Toiletries are available, but the toilet is against the wall. The food is passable, primitive. There is a swimming pool, but without changing rooms and a shower. We will never come to this hotel again
