If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, then this is a great place to do it.
We lived on the 5th floor, the room was two-room, it is clear that only after renovation. There are no Russian channels on the TV, and there is no Wi-Fi even for an additional fee. The staff is friendly. The food is very tasty, but it's a pity that they delay the seating for 10-15 minutes.
I upset the pool, the water is cloudy (but it is updated daily), apparently it's not about the water, but it's time to clean the pool itself. It's a pity there's not much to buy. Toothbrushes and shampoos are sold, but there are no sweets for children and adults.
A huge area where you can turn around well and come up with a lot of entertainment is idle.

Of the minuses, there is no proper supervision by pool workers, women swim in outerwear, rinse it there, men swim in underpants, do not change into swimming shorts or swimming trunks. And none of the staff makes comments to them. Of course, those who can swim go to charvak.
I can't imagine how the vacationers at the boarding house feel about this. Last year there were few tapchans, but there were also a little quiet cozy place for visitors, now it's noisier, and I think it will slowly slide into disuse,

The staff is friendly. The food is delicious. The pool is clean. We recently moved in on the fifth floor. The rooms are only renovated, clean bed linen. There is always hot water in the shower.

I really like Metallurg Boarding house, we have been vacationing here as a family for 8 years, the rooms are good, the food is excellent, you definitely won't stay hungry, and the most thing I like most is the pier, access to Charvak, it is always clean because you immediately go to the depth, it is very convenient to swim from the pier. Although there are 220 steps from the boarding house to the beach, this is a very excellent exercise and workout.

Positive: beautiful view, very well-groomed territory, price, food (it is not a restaurant, but very edible and different)
Cons: very old rooms and very, very hard beds, you can say you'll sleep on the boards.
I gave 3 stars for the fact that we were deceived, they took the money as for the season, but nothing worked. The elevator was not working, they had already turned it off, the Wi-Fi was not working, they had already turned it off too. The pool was no longer working either. But when I was paying, no one warned me about it. We were there on September 5th. So know that from September 1, there is nothing to do there, just walk and breathe.

The view of charvak is very beautiful, the food wants the best, the rooms need renovation, the staff is responsive, the pool is large, clean, but colder than charvak. There is a field for volleyball or mini football on synthetic turf. There are tapchans with conditions nearby, if you take it, you need to pay 300 thousand separately. There is a pier at the bottom on the shore of charvak (the trick of this place), the water there is clean without clay mud, there are conditions to dive into the water from a 2-meter height, adrenaline rush :). You can ride a scooter, of course, for a fee :). But it is problematic to reach charvak and climb back up, physical exertion for the heart :), it will not seem enough. Therefore, I do not recommend this place to elderly visitors. There are long and endless steps everywhere. You can come here for a couple of days to live normally, but it gets boring for longer periods. If you need a quiet place for family and weekend vacations, with a beautiful view of Charvak, and you are not picky about food, then this is the place for you :).

The view from the territory to the reservoir is gorgeous, the location is just great. But the building, furniture, and equipment are obsolete. The rooms are dirty. The service is not very good. I do not advise you to spend the night and live.

We booked a room a week in advance, they said on the phone that everything was booked, called again the day before to clarify and of course pretended that they were hearing for the first time. A good view from the window, if the Windows overlook Charvak, otherwise everything seems to be from the USSR, all rooms require major repairs. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is no entertainment except table tennis, you can go bowling in the neighboring pyramids. I will definitely not go a second time.
