There are many places for a tent near the station itself. There is drinking water. You can drop things here on horseback. A very big disadvantage is that there is a large dump behind the weather station, which spoils the whole view((

This is no longer a station at all, but a shelter for climbers.
An alternative to tents before storming Kazbek, it's over, it's great. And what you can eat indoors. But it's creepy dirty, and of course with such a stream of climbers, the toilet issue needs to be solved differently.
