The secrets of shamans and the ethnographic part of the tour are what I have been looking for for a long time. The organization is clear, we liked the hotels along the route very much, especially in Merida. It is clear that the guides know their business and love Mexico.
We took a tour of the Black Jaguar Trail. An excellent, rich program, I liked the organization (everything was clear on time, a small group). There was a really private swim in the cenote. The ethnopark is clearly a tourist place, but it was very interesting to immerse ourselves for a while in the traditions of the Maya people, There was not enough time at the last point of the program - the city of Valladolid, but we managed to feel Spain. Thank you for such a day!
Great 5in1 tour! There were 4 January 2022. Everything is perfectly organized. Good car, good driver. Tatiana is a wonderful guide. He tells a lot of stories about the Maya and Mexico in general. She was wearing a national costume and we could see her from afar. I liked everything very much!
I want to share my impressions about my vacation in Mexico and about excursions in general,... we took a 6 in 1 tour of the ancient Mayan cities,it was a very cool, positive and memorable tour, the guide Alexander was just on top, he was able not only to immerse the group in the history of the Maya peoples, but also to tell about Mexico in general, ✊👌👍We wish you prosperity, more responsive and grateful customers 😉
Good afternoon! We were on an excursion "Ek Balam with pink lakes". We climbed the EkBalam pyramid. There is a beautiful view of another pyramid. We took photos on the pink lake (the lake where salt is mined, for photography only). We swam along the river to the Gulf of Mexico, where we saw crocodiles, flamingos, pelicans and other birds. We swam in the cenote Cubes (Or the Keel is more beautiful), a very nice area. We walked around the city of Valladolid. 50% of the tour is a guide! We had Tatiana, a supergid, she lives in Mexico, she told us a lot of interesting things!
We also visited the second sightseeing tour of Cancun. I really liked it. We felt Cancun. We visited the observation deck overlooking the coast. We visited the Maya Museum. We visited the boutique of jewelry and tequila, where there was not just a tasting, but a very interesting talk about the production of tequila. They presented a pendant with a letter of the Maya alphabet. In conclusion, we went to the shopping center, which is located in the port. We did not walk around the shopping center, but went for a walk to the port, it was very beautiful.
Thanks for the guided tours!
We took a tour of the Ruins of Chichen Itza (for $70), with an English-speaking guide at the end of July 2021. The tour itself took place, although there are many BUT:
It didn't work out from the very beginning - the bus driver didn't want to drive up to the hotel - he had to run across the expressway, wait until he could run over. Well, the safety of the tour is at the level, I thought.
Let's go, we captured other tourists along the way. That's okay. According to the program on the website, the first place where we were supposed to be brought was the pyramids in Chichen Itza. BUT, we were brought to the "shamans", souvenir dealers and for lunch (at lunch, my wife eventually poisoned herself, I did not eat anything, I only paid for a drink - yes, drinks were not included in lunch). By the way, there were the same buses with other tourists in the same place - it is obvious that this company brings all tourists here, which does not fit with the words of the sales manager that "this was the first time and there was a hitch and of course this should not be." I do not believe. This happens to everyone - just to make money at any cost.
By the way, we took the tour with an English-speaking guide, but since there were 90 percent of Mexicans on the bus, the guide spoke Spanish almost all the time and interspersed phrases in dirty English. Well, such a thing - get ready for such an option.
As a result, we got to the pyramids by about 16 o'clock and it was literally the beginning of our tour. The tour lasted an hour with another English-speaking guide, but due to the fact that they brought us here late - towards the end of the inspection, everyone was already kicked out of the territory, since Chichen Itza was closing by that time. In general, there is no free time for a walk - everything is very concise.
We were quickly assembled, and we left for the cenote at about 5-5:20 pm. The journey takes about 40 minutes, Swimming in the cenote for about 20 minutes + fees. As a result, at about 19 we left for Villadolid. We were dropped off in the central square, given 20 minutes for a walk - it was already dark at that time. Accordingly, it did not work out to see the city. We left for the hotel at ~20 pm. We got used to dinner at the hotel - everyone was exhausted, because at first it was unbearably stuffy outside, then everyone got soaked in the rain on an excursion to Chichen Itza, the air conditioner was working on the bus and everyone was simply freezing. We returned to the hotel at 22:00 (our hotel is near Tulum) - the rest of the tourists who were closer to Cancun had to return at 23-24 pm.
And now compare the hours I have indicated with the official program:
10:30 – Chichen Itza City Tour
12:30 – Swimming in the cenote
13:30 – Lunch at the Mayan restaurant
14:30 – Valladolid City Tour
16:00 – Return to the hotel
Let me remind you that we walked along Chichen Itza for 50 minutes, bought 20 minutes + showering and changing clothes + 20 minutes walking along the central square of Villadolid. Most of the time we drove to the first strange place with shamans and lunch. By the way, shamanic rituals + carrying tourists on souvenirs in total lasted about 2 hours + lunch - another hour and a half - I think it's just time wasted
We were supposed to leave for the hotels at 16:00. We left at 20:00.
Of course, there was no question of any returns, since everything seemed to have taken place, but instead of pleasure - a solid negative! I highly do not recommend this company - it is better to pay extra but take a tour without any haggling inserts.
They wanted to take another tour the next day, they paid an advance in advance, but after that they refused. No one returned the advance ($20).
PS for Chichen Itza, it would not be superfluous to take an umbrella - just in case, but they are sold there, if anything, by numerous merchants right on the territory of the pyramids!
Many thanks to the Mexico Tour agency for the excellent day trips)). We are glad that we turned to you)) special thanks to our wonderful guide Alexander)) during 2 excursions, he became almost our family) took care of and cared for)) next time we will travel only with you)) thanks again))
It was the first time I took an excursion through Instagram, and not through a tour operator. We took a 5in1 tour, which cost us $ 125, and the tour operator asked for $190 for the same program. I don't know what the difference is, maybe the food at lunch tastes better, but it seems to me it's better to just have a snack than to posh on this insane difference.
I liked everything. We took an advance payment of $ 20 to the card when the bus arrived, paid the rest. The group was 20 people, had a great day. We watched everything we wanted and returned to the hotel safely. I have never regretted that I took a tour from them, and did not overpay
