+ excellent location,
+ good price including breakfast,
+ good breakfasts - a buffet with several salads, a couple of mustard dishes, plus they cook an amlet, and they believe in coffee
- rooms require renovation,
- sometimes cleaning messes up,
- premier rooms are quite compact.
Not a bad hotel, a very good location, I went out and immediately onto the main pedestrian street, the price and quality are not bad. But I wouldn't give 5 stars.
Very convenient location for tourists. To explore parts of Istanbul europe. It is located near the Shishkhane and Taksim metro stations. On the next street and the famous Istiklal. The window has a view of the British Embassy.

The most terrible hotel!
We made everything out pretty quickly, got up, the common corridor was terribly dirty, the carpet was all stained with some kind of stains, entered the room, which was not cleaned after the previous tenants.
They asked for another number. They said that the air conditioner does not work in another room (it is more than 30 degrees outside even at night).
As a result, we went to a room with a non-working air conditioner, which, admittedly, worked a little. The room was cleaned, but in one of the bathrooms.but someone was clearly taking a shower in front of us (everything was in steam and drops). Thank God there were 2 baths in the room and we were able to take a shower in the other one. The rooms themselves are old. There was a sofa in the room that was scary to sit on, covered in stains...
In the morning we went to breakfast, the buffet was average, but again the plates turned out to be dirty (with scrambled eggs stuck) and asked to give clean ones. So the administrator also found fault with what we don't like about these.
It is very close to Istiklal, next to the British Embassy. If possible, take it with a view of the embassy, if the windows are on the street, it's too noisy. The breakfasts include freshly squeezed orange, on -2 there is a hammam (you must ask in advance to prepare it), a sauna (it works), a basik and a Jacuzzi.
Very helpful staff! The hotel is located next to the British Embassy, window to window. So you can joke about an Englishwoman with the curtains closed.
The rooms are small but cozy.
The only problem is the smell of sewage in the rooms. Although this may be the problem of the whole old Istanbul.
The rooms are not cleaned at all, even if you leave a tip every day. The clouds of dust were before us, and will remain after. Hygiene products are replenished, but towels are not changed, but simply folded, as well as objects are laid out in the bathroom and on the table. The staff is friendly, but these are all advantages.
