The free upgrade was made to a nicer room. The location is great, 3 minutes from Istiklal, 1 minute Taksim Square, which by the way is very convenient to get anywhere by metro. At the same time, the hotel is in the courtyards and there is no noise from the roads.
The minus star is breakfast, very tasty. Only bread, cheese, sausage and fruits. For the first time, I did not see any yoghurts, porridge or anything for breakfast. It is better not to overpay for breakfast and eat somewhere in a cafe
The room has: a coffee machine with capsules, a kettle + tea bags, an iron, an ironing board, and a welcome treat (they brought us a plate of fruits and a set of delicious cookies). We had a room on the 3rd floor, in the morning in August the room had a comfortable temperature - the sun does not shine through the windows. You can open the windows, but mosquitoes can fly in, so I do not recommend it if there are no insect repellents. In the bathroom, the set included shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, a set with cotton pads, and a pleasant repair. Slippers and bathrobes are also immediately in the room, you do not need to order extra.
There was a good selection at breakfast, fresh food, on our dates (the middle of the week) it was not crowded. You can order room service.
Quiet environment, close to the final bus stop to the airport, near Taksim Square. The hotel is clean, cozy, and the breakfasts are delicious and varied
A clean, cozy and quiet hotel with responsive staff in a top location near Taksim Square. There are many restaurants nearby and a metro station from where you can go to any place in Istanbul. Also close to the street. Istiklal.
It is more convenient to be located next to the Istiklal pedestrian street, a large number of restaurants, mostly with the same type of menu and prices much lower than on the Galata Bridge
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They turn off the Wi-Fi at night on purpose, from 10 pm to 10 am. And they lie to the guests that these are communication problems.
We had a rest from January 2 to January 7, 2020.I liked everything very much, clean, neat, everything is tasteful. We don't know English, but we were more understood here than in our pearl hotel. Upon arrival at 7 a.m., they were immediately fed breakfast, then settled, did not wait two hours, as our hotels now practice. The place is beautiful, the hotel is cozy, cute. We just fell in love with him. Thank you so much, Midtown, we'll be back again.
Nice hotel. Near the metro, bus stop to Havabas and Khvvaist airports, fanicular to Kabatash, Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops. The breakfast at the hotel is decent, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. The Bosphorus is visible on the upper floors.
