It is a good airport in Moscow u can have bus until local metro station and it is affordable 100rub but don’t expect much in that bus for that amount it is worth to travel and also aero express bus are there for 350rub that was worth to pay until metro station
Terrible experience at this airport. The travel agents are not helpful at all. They do not know the policies of airlines. We contacted our airline and they were appalled with the type of service provided here. I will not recommend this airport. It is the worst place for foreigners.
I only had experience in the arrival side of the airport and it was midnight. The customs took a while, but there were more than 10 desks open, so they were trying to make it easier and quicker or all passengers arriving. It was easy to walk through they don't speak English but definitely get the message across. Yandex taxi service takes quick, so not a long wait and bathroom's were somewhat representative with toilet paper and kind of clean. I look forward to experiencing the departure side of the airport.
The employees in the airport they don't understand any other language such English or Arabic.. And they are mad if you don't speak Russian.. This is not logical and not attractive for tourists to visit your country!!
I like the new developments. The new Aeroexpress bus to Domodedovo metro station is also a big plus. But at 350 rules its only slightly cheaper then the aeroexpress train.
Be careful of the taxis outside of the airport they charged me 300 dollars to go from the airport to red Square!!!!
Let the hotel send u a car or go to the taxi desk INSIDE the airport and pay over there and take a receipt
Airport environment is good but I couldn’t find any free drinking water dispenser machine. On the other hand the immigration Officers behavior to the travellers is not appropriate.
3 stars for cleanliness, restaurants and ease of access. But never try the lounges, i tired S7 and the DME lounge, both low standard, cold food, dry bakery (if you found any) and barely a view (s7). The DME lounge has patio furniture for some reason…. Still a mystery for me
For an airport, it’s not too crowded. All the information in there is written in both Russian and English so even non-Russian speakers can easily navigate the airport
