I visited Belarus for the first time. We stayed at the Minsk hotel.’ Overall, the impressions were positive. Very clean, neat. Our room was for two, not small, the bathroom was spacious. All shower facilities were available, as well as bathrobes, slippers and enough towels. The only thing I didn't like was that the windows of the room overlooked the parking lot and something passed under the window (we never understood), and made noise, so the window couldn't be left open. The splin system was built in and made noise at startup, we periodically turned it off. They don't check in before 14.00. The location of the hotel is excellent, everything is within walking distance. Overall, everything is fine. I recommend.

A good hotel, polite and friendly staff, especially a girl offering cultural leisure (museums, exhibitions, excursions).
The rooms are clean, the breakfasts are good.
There is an ATM where you can withdraw cash, accept MIR cards.
Very convenient location! 10 minutes walk from the train station. Within walking distance of GUM, Cornflowers, metro, etc.

Such an iconic place for Minsk. A hotel with wide marble stairs between the floors, luxurious chandeliers. My room was ordinary, for one guest, but everything was very decent. The place is never more convenient. The view from the room was just like in a movie. There is everything you need nearby. This is just the perfect hotel for a business trip. The breakfast is varied, for every taste. The staff is very helpful. Everything is at the highest level!

Excellent service, good layout of spacious rooms, despite the fact that the building itself was built in Soviet times. There is a minibar, a restaurant on the ground floor and even a Casino. Four stars in my opinion is too small, the hotel is worthy of five.

They usually close earlier than stated. The kitchen is open until 22:30, after 22:40 they refuse service altogether.

There were few people in the institution itself, the entourage of institutions of the USSR of the 60s. The dishes are basically delicious, draniki fire, borscht. The chicken dish was too salty, too much.
In the end, after he had simply calculated, and asked about the type of payment, voiced his desire to make a card payment, the waiter very smartly ran for the 2nd terminal, not the one they have at the counter to accept payment on the bill, allegedly for tipping on the card. There were no questions, maybe I have cash, there was no question if I liked everything, but just here's the terminal, here's 10 rubles for a tip, please pay)
I did not spoil the mood for myself and others from such arrogance and resourcefulness, in principle, I am ready to leave 2 tips once for the sake of such a performance.
But!! Friends, it's an impudent and unscrupulous lie to demand tips like that, we're not in the Stone Age, I immediately receive a notification of payment from which terminal, how much the payment took place and the deception is immediately visible, a check for the restaurant and a check from the lobby bar of the hotel. Please do not consider all tourists idiots and try to breed everyone so brazenly, no one will come back to you after this. I certainly am.
It was funny to pay double tips once, but I don't see the point in returning to this restaurant, there are plenty of other establishments with more decent staff around.

It is partly my fault that the institution was carelessly chosen and the existence of a restaurant called "Seventh Heaven" was checked in principle, however, unfortunately, it turned out to book a place on another site. As a result, I had to leave the place because of not what was expected, but the wine was really delicious, and the prices were pleasant for the dishes (although nothing was tasted), the atmosphere is really slightly oppressive, but it's more of a personal feeling.

When exiting the elevator, there is, so to speak, an "entrance hall", where there is a wardrobe with a counter, restrooms and a "smoking room", the entrance to the celebration hall itself, which on the other hand communicates with a room that I would call a "room for relaxation or selfies or dancing" (optional))). All rooms are furnished and decorated in white tones, in the style of "rococo" or "Baroque" (well, or something like that))). In general, a small, nice vip lounge (halls) for "autonomous navigation"))). No one bothers, everything you need is in place, cozy))).
