A great museum! Sincere! A must-visit! The tour guide is wonderful and conducted the tour just for our family. It was also nice to send a New Year's card. To see things from childhood
On 30.06.2024, the family visited the archaeological museum "Verkhny Gorod", the expositions "Karetnaya" and "Minsk Concourse". I liked all three museums very much, but I was especially impressed by the archaeological one: the exhibits are so competently placed in such a small space, and this helps to plunge into history! In addition - games, presentations, the legend of the mill wheel, etc...! It's not only educational, but also fun! We thank all the museum staff for their comprehensive explanations. We wish the museum to develop and expand!
I wanted to go here in winter to an exhibition of Christmas tree toys, but it didn't happen. Therefore, I am very glad that I finally managed to get to the second part of the exhibition "Memory of Generations". As for the exhibition, the works of graphic artists are presented here.
There is a permanent exhibition on the 1st floor.
I would like to mention the friendly caretaker Natalia Gennadievna, who told me what halls are located in, and also offered to inspect the permanent exhibition and showed willingness to tell about it.
Judging by the book of reviews, the museum's visitors are mostly Russians. It is a pity, of course, that Belarusians do not come (but this is the situation in all museums).
I wish success and inspiration to the workers!
The museum is good, there are many exhibits, there is something to see and learn new things. But! There is one problem, we barely found it. It is located in the building of the Savitsky Museum, we found out about this already inside the building, when Yandex Map stubbornly showed us that it was not Savitsky here, but the museum of Minsk
It's a beautiful place.
A wide range of paintings and exhibits .
We took a ticket for the entire program, they are very valuable to the students.)
I recommend visiting
We were here at the Savitsky exhibition.
The place is atmospheric, the staff here deserves special attention, one woman told us for an hour and showed us facts from the artist's biography, immersing us a little in that era.
From time to time, various exhibitions are held here, sometimes very interesting.
In general, the city military enlistment office was located here during the Union! I think many people still remember...

The museum is cool, there are a lot of deep paintings, there are also always additional mini-exhibitions
, BUT!!!
The opening hours are clearly not for people, so they also rush to close everything at 6:30 pm, although I expected that at 7 they would only slowly begin to close the halls (as they do in other places and as in fact they should to be)
If it had been at least before 8 p.m., a lot more people could have made it here.
You can book a tour of the history of Minsk. There are thematic exhibitions on various historical topics. Near the workshop - museum is the gallery of the artist Mikhail Savitsky. A government organization.
Wonderful expositions! It was interesting to admire the work of Savitsky, to feel the atmosphere of everyday life of the XIX century, to be in space and plunge into the originality of the Karyaks!
There are very few experts and the description is poor. It was done poorly and not of high quality. There is no guide. There is nothing to buy as a keepsake. Everything is terribly organized.
Not a museum of the history of the city of Minsk, but an exhibition of galleries. Paintings, cameras, etc.. Well, on February 24
There is nothing about Minsk
This is all good, but not the museum of Minsk. Pryvyali dzyatsi pakazat gistory gorada, and I'm there I'm nyama. Liudzi pratsuyut there tsudoyya, asabliva sh garderobe) Ala spachatka kasir pradala kvitki, and the sweat shone out, because there are only a few exhibitions of the master. It's all right.
A wonderful place, helpful staff, interesting excursions

I really liked the paintings "Village of Khoruzhi" by Igor Barkhatkov, "The Core of the Planet", "Constellation of Virgo" and "Byzantium" by Viktor Alshevsky and "Legends of Minsk. The blue handkerchief" by Pavel Kondrusevich.
Thank you so much for your masterpieces. Wonderful!!!
The excellent location of the museum, responsive staff, excellent director Ladisova G. P. The halls are elegantly equipped, it was very pleasant to exhibit.
A great museum. The work schedule is of course hellish! It is designed apparently for incurious citizens! In Moscow and other European countries, the working hours have long been extended due to evening hours and weekends!! Please do this and more people will be able to get acquainted with the expositions!!
It is clear that they are made with love for their work!
