I stopped several times, even before the "revolutions". The metro nearby was then just a slow-moving long-term construction. It would be interesting to see what happened. I drove by car; for the first time - late at night, I barely found the entrance to the barrier - from the understudy. Thanks to the Kiev taxi driver - I drove ahead, saw him off, and didn't take any money. The people in Kiev were wonderful. Where did everything go... The hotel has its own parking lot. The staff spoke excellent Russian. The room stock is large. The rooms are somewhat pretentious, but on closer inspection they are slightly fake (in the sense of furniture). The price-quality ratio was very good. The hotel restaurant cooked well. There is generally excellent cuisine in Kiev, almost everywhere. It is strange to read that there is no heat, network problems, old TVs... Sorry. Alas.
The conditions are excellent in terms of fear of contact with other visitors. A deserted, not the cheapest hotel. The room is spacious. I was confused by the only outlet for charging the phone, which is closer to the exit than to the bed)). You need to have a two-meter USB cable for charging)) On the 7th floor, where I was, wi-fi is being picked up, but the connection quality is unstable. You need to have a Ukrainian SIM card with the Internet. In short, good conditions for those nostalgic for the Soviet VIP service: long corridors, rooms with rich decoration by Soviet standards, carpets on the floor, elevators, beautiful outside, Soviet inside. A huge restaurant where I had breakfast absolutely alone)) It's great for one or two nights!
The excellent location of the hotel! There is a metro nearby and at the same time you can relax on the lake shore in a green park. the forest park!
The junior suite is very good. Not super modern, but very cozy.
The hotel is good for those who need a good, comfortable place to relax after a busy day.
