If you are thinking about taking a tour of Mirsky and Nesvizh Castle, then I will answer like this: Mir Castle 60%, Nesvizh Castle 20 and another 20 there is also a Church. An authentic place, many parts have been preserved from different time periods of development. Very competent excursions, everything inside is neat and thoughtful (adjusted for spiral stone stairs from the old days). There is just a park around, it is extremely functional, but in good weather it allows you to take some good shots.
An amazing place with a centuries-old history, shrouded in legends and myths. There is an opportunity not only to touch the history, but also to feel like Prince Mirsky, staying in the castle, in luxurious two-storey rooms.
There is an excellent medieval restaurant in the basement of the castle.
I recommend you to visit. It's a beautiful place. The castle retains the atmosphere of time. An interesting exposition. If you have time, it's better to take a guided tour or an audio guide.
A great restaurant.
Mir Castle is another amazing place that I had a chance to visit. Everything is at the highest level!
an interesting tour, a warm welcome, and we also got to see the performance of the Scots. Thanks for the reception!
A must-visit! Moreover, I would recommend an independent one (the cheapest option for the summer of 2024 was by taxi - 3 people, because excursions from Minsk cost some insane money, although they included a transfer and lunch). It takes about 1.5 hours to visit the castle. It should be borne in mind that if you want to get into the towers, you will need to climb steep and narrow stairs, so I would recommend shorts or trousers for ladies, and also pay attention to overweight people, because in reality it can be uncomfortable and even difficult. Athletic shoes are also desirable. The main part of the exposition does not require such efforts. The rented audio guide is interesting, it completely replaces the guide. You can also get back by Yandex taxi without any problems, the waiting time is about 30 minutes. The way to the center of Minsk is about an hour.
The castle is beautiful. It's a wonderful view. Walking up the stairs of the towers is another quest, but it's interesting. Good parking. A souvenir market. I definitely recommend visiting
The centuries-old history of the complex, shrouded in events, secrets and legends, is impressive. The castle's exposition can also be explored using an audio guide. Unfortunately, there is also a sad milestone in the history of the castle. The legend stories about the apple orchard and the underground passage are interesting.
Wow! And once again, class!!! I recommend it, it looks gorgeous from the outside and very cool inside, all the passages, stairs, expositions definitely need to be visited.
The ideal place to spend 3-4 hours here and then go on business to Minsk or towards Brest.
It is very atmospheric, not far from the highway, the village itself is very beautiful.
In summer, it's the TOP!!!
There is something to see, it's better to go for the whole day, and take a guide, we were there on Saturday, a lot of people, you can buy souvenirs, but it's expensive. I liked it more than Nesvizh
It is very clean, there are guides, a large territory, there are souvenirs, but very expensive exhibits can not be touched there so beautifully, but the workers are angry, you can sit in the wardrobe with things for 5 hours from the kitchen
Cool!!! The inexpressible atmosphere of the Middle Ages, carefully recreated by Master restorers! Thanks to them!!! The tomb church surprised me a little: it must be Catholics, but in fact the ROC!? But overall: you won't regret it, it's worth it!!!
The beautifully restored castle, the dungeons are impressive, everything is beautifully maintained. You get into the spirit of that time. There are many exhibition halls. Calculate the time for half a day.
It is a very atmospheric , beautiful castle, we traveled independently from Minsk. In addition to the main exhibition, you can climb the steep stairs to the towers , go down to the prison basement , go to a separate chapel. Schoolchildren get a 50% discount on admission , they do not ask for Belarusian citizenship, they are pleased that children are treated loyally. I didn't like the audio guide , the same thing is written on the stand, next to the exhibits, I regretted that I didn't take a tour of the castle. There is a good cafe right next to the castle , the prices are cheaper than in the castle .
A great place to walk. An interesting show is staged on the castle square. It is impressive to climb the narrow stairs of the castle! We were left with a good impression, we brought home a bunch of photos from the castle.
I recommend it, it's a real castle. It's very atmospheric. We took an excursion, I advise you. We also climbed the tower. And we were lucky to get to a concert in the courtyard of the castle in honor of the liberation of the World from the Nazis 80th anniversary. We bought honey and small gifts at the souvenir shop.
We were delighted. It is very interesting to take a full ticket and walk around the castle. And yet, it's better to win a couple of nights at the hotel and feel a little like three centuries ago.
Don't forget to visit the restaurant. You will be satisfied!
A great and unique place of its kind. I advise everyone to visit this castle at least once in their life. A huge number of exhibits. You can wander through almost all the corners of the castle
I really liked it, an interesting tour and a very beautiful place. It is smaller than Nesvizh Castle, but I advise everyone to visit. Nesvizh is the Radziwills' home, and this is their place where they shared the loot. Their wealth began, as with many of those times, with robbery. It was then that they became what we know.
I really liked the place! It was interesting and informative. Walking through the halls of the castle, two hours flew by unnoticeably. Unfortunately, there was no more time. We will definitely come back - there is still something to see.
An interesting place. There is a place to walk and enjoy the old days. Of course, it will be difficult for the elderly to climb steep stairs, keep in mind. There is a place where it is not expensive to eat. There are mini battles of the Middle Ages and souvenir sales in the courtyard.
I liked it! The castle is beautiful and interesting. The territory is large - there is a place to walk / relax. Entrance to the territory is free. Entrance to the castle is paid. There is a restaurant, a gift shop. Toilet (paid). Parking space. There is a grocery store near the complex. I'll be back again 🫶🏻
A beautiful castle in the Lithuanian-Polish style, the castle has a hotel, a museum, everything is very beautiful, a large territory. Near the village of Mir, where the Orthodox and Catholic churches with their own history and culture. The very center of the World in the old style of the 19th century. Nearby, somewhere 25-30 kilometers is the Nesvizh Castle, you can combine these two trips if by car. I highly recommend it, there is something to see and of course if you go to Belarus you will get a royal drink for Stark.
An attraction worth visiting!
100 km away. from Minsk, the road is comfortable, the castle is perfectly restored, the views of the surroundings of the city of Mir are amazing!
It is worth staying overnight in the city
I really liked the tour, at least the castle corresponds to the theme, if you consider what there just wasn't a hospital, sanatorium, small family, of course all reproductions, but beautiful. Here is a castle in Vyborg (knightly) there are no knights anywhere near there, and all that is connected with this is only the castle itself and the Fse. The original billiard table is 300 years old
It was at the end of August. Great. After the tour, we went up to the tower. Of course, the steps are something - you need to be in good shape. Very authentically restored, just the spirit of the Middle Ages in this castle.
The place impresses with its beauty and the spirit of history! Large park area, everything is well maintained. There are many exhibits in the castle, the movement through the halls is thought out. Polite staff. If you want to immerse yourself in the world of ancient art, then here you are!
I advise everyone to visit. We visited the castle in early November 24. Although the castle was little inhabited and little has been preserved from the era when it flourished. Anyway, the walls protect some kind of special atmosphere of that era. Be sure to climb all the towers and walls and basements. Of course, you won't understand all its charm right away. But there is some kind of sediment in the bones that does not give rest to the head. And you want to immerse yourself in the history of those times more, scroll through all the information about those distant times on the Internet, plunge into the historical events associated with these places. By the way, there is a very decent restaurant in the castle in the basement. Because after walking around the castle and its surroundings, you will definitely get hungry.
We came here with my wife from Grodno.
A suite 402 with a view of the courtyard with towers and the city was ordered. The view is beautiful. The room inside was really better than in the photo. What I didn't like was that the Jacuzzi wasn't working -it was a bummer. The second bummer happened in the morning when we bought coffee in the coffee machine at the reception. It is not recommended.
Otherwise, everything is beautiful, sincere, clean.
Walks around the castle with a park and a lake, an excursion inside the castle is definitely recommended.
There is also a local restaurant inside the castle with Belarusian national cuisine, but those who live in Belarus will not be surprised by this, the cuisine is for an amateur and expensive.
We have been planning a trip to Belarus for a long time. Radziwill castles were chosen from the sites to visit. It was interesting from the first minute until the end of the tour. Mir Castle is a journey through time! It impresses with its luxury and security. It's beautiful, especially in rainy weather, because you immediately get to the Middle Ages. The very nature around is good!
I really liked it!
A very interesting exposition, excellent guides. There were two times. It was like listening to two different tours. The narratives hardly intersected. The children really enjoyed running up stairs, towers, walls. This is a direct fitness due to the high and narrow steps, although the length of the stairs is small. There is a parking lot in front of the castle, in season it may be completely clogged. There is a very cozy restaurant in the basement of the castle, the food is delicious, local cuisine. Sea buckthorn kvass is drunk, I do not recommend it to those who are going to drive.
I really liked it, it was restored neatly, suitable music is playing inside. All the quibbles about the new model are incomprehensible to me, the building and the city survived the wars, it's good that something remains.
A very beautiful tour with animators and exhibits. Immersion in the past is guaranteed. The castle has been well restored both outside and inside. I highly recommend it for a visit.
An interesting place, especially in sunny weather. You need to reserve a guide in advance, but there is an option for an audio guide for 5 rubles. It's better than just gawking. I recommend a tour of the towers and the prison.
A very atmospheric place! Everyone in the car gasped when they saw him! The only advice is not to go there in a skirt if you plan to visit the towers. There are stairs so steep that it will be inconvenient to walk on them. There is a beautiful park behind the castle. The impressions of the visit are the most pleasant 👍
A historical place. The castle is very beautiful now. The guides are different. We had a very quiet voice, we had to listen, but it didn't always help. The guide is on the machine, she told me - and that's it, she just worked for a while
I will not describe the castle itself. I can only say that it is well renovated – it is nice to look at it and be inside.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that if you are going to visit it, then you must definitely go with an excursion (try to book an excursion in advance, otherwise there may not be a free guide).
Students (even Russian ones) get a discount on admission.
At 10 p.m., the castle lights turn on – additional emotions from contemplating the splendor of the night!
It's a great place!
Excellent architecture, super interiors, interesting exposition, very informative and historically true!!!
And this is against the background of the fact that we were in Tsaritsyno a week ago, so the interiors there simply do not match.
Mir Castle is a super place!
This is the second time in the castle and if the opportunity turns up, I will come again! The first time I was alone, this time with my husband and my youngest daughter of 13 years old. Everyone liked it! My husband has guns and armor, my daughter and I have towers and the decoration of the halls. In general, Unesco will not advise anything bad. Be sure to come!
We were with children aged 7 and 9. We took a tour and did not regret it. The guide told about the history of the castle, its owners, what happened to the castle in the post-war and Soviet times.
The castle has a lot of tapestries, Slutsk belts, antique furniture. Unfortunately, the furniture was bought at auctions. The original was not preserved, burned for firewood during the war.
The castle has the spirit of the Middle Ages)
This is probably the most popular place among Russian tourists. We were here on May Day, there are a lot of people. There are queues everywhere, but we got the audio guide. In addition to the exposition, a program with Scottish warriors was organized in the castle courtyard. The tour was not taken. The exposition itself is rather not about the castle (only the walls remained there from the native one), but about castle life in general. It is worth noting the competent routing - the museum staff did well. The biggest disadvantage of this place was waiting for us outside the castle. There was nowhere to eat. The entire catering service worked to serve organized groups.
Convenient parking. Souvenirs can be picked up in the parking lot. I advise you to take handmade work from a man. Made with your own hands and the price is cheaper than the dealers. The castle has friendly and helpful staff. They will always prompt and answer any question. There are many attractions. The castle is very well maintained. I advise you to dress in sports clothes. There are many narrow rooms and high steps. A large area. A visit to the castle will leave a lot of impressions.
One of the few cultural historical and archaeological sites in Belarus, which has been brought back to life by the efforts of the public, scientists and restorers. Look at the interest that people have in the castle: all parking lots are constantly clogged with cars and buses, excursions go one by one, the castle is constantly filmed as a nature in various historical, military and spy thrillers. I have been to the castle several times since 1972. Everything is changing for the better. I highly recommend visiting the castle and especially with children
A great and amazingly beautiful place, I advise everyone to visit it, arriving there, as if you are transported to some amazingly beautiful old fairy tale, next to the castle there is a chapel-tomb of princes Svyatopolk-Mirsky and Mirsky Park.
The place is wonderful, beautiful photos, fresh air, I really liked the castle, come, take your time. There will still be a castle not far from it, it is convenient to visit two castles in one day
The castle is very beautiful, a picturesque place. There is a very good souvenir shop on the castle grounds. Well-maintained territory, Parking, good toilet. When we were in the castle, even the cannon was firing. It was unexpected and interesting. There are paving stones in the castle (no way on heels). I recommend you to visit.
We spent the night at the castle hotel. We examined the castle, walked around. The views in the evening with lighting are interesting. The service and facilities are excellent, the rooms are good, quite spacious..I would like to have at least some dishes in the rooms with a kitchenette. The impressions of the stay are good. We rented two rooms for 4 adults and 2 children.
A great place to relax, there is something to see not only in the castle but also around!
I do not recommend watching towers, especially if you are afraid of confined spaces, this applies to stairs! It's very narrow and there are a lot of people going up and down and congestion is forming! But in general, I really liked it!!!!
One of the most perfectly restored castles in the Republic of Belarus. It is beautiful at any time of the year! An interesting museum, tournaments of knights are held. The history of the castle and its inhabitants is fascinating.
