We stayed one night. This hotel is considered the most beautiful in the world. However, I was surprised that the self-evident things for hotels are not used here. For example... I took a Suite, naturally the most expensive room in the room fund of this hotel. Not only is it a very strange renovation, it feels like the renovation of the 90s... So even there is no air conditioner in the room, I had to sleep with the windows fully open (it's hot outside). Like a leather sofa, which is like an extra. the place was laid out for us (for 60 rubles) all crooked, creaky and terribly uncomfortable! They gave one bottle of water for three visitors! Of course, toothbrushes, combs, and hair caps are not provided in this suite. I was very upset by the quality of cleaning, especially in the toilet (there were traces of previous guests!).
I want to pay special attention to the restaurant. Don't go there - it's terribly not tasty, it's terrible! I just don't want to write about it. Go eat - in front of the castle - cafe "Mir" in my opinion is called that) there's a choice, and the service is delicious!))

It is a very beautiful place, but this is due not to the staff, who show their complete incompetence and unprofessionalism from the moment the guests meet, but to the strongest history of the place and the beauty of nature. If you are lucky upon arrival and you find the hotel administrator on the spot, you are lucky, most likely you will stand and wait for this important and elusive employee, while no one is interested in the fact that you pay a rather inflated price for a room. You are not a guest - you are small servants and should be glad that the two-faced employees of the Mirsky Posad paid attention to you!!!!
And if you still had the patience and nerves to wait for the administrator, check in, see a fan in the suite, not an air conditioner and leftovers from previous guests under the bedside tables and cupboards and you decided to visit the RESTAURANT, then another miracle awaits you, a three-faced unfriendly employee (she's a bartender, she's a waiter, she's probably chef and technologist). As soon as she deigns to take your order, you can safely go for a walk for at least 30-40 minutes, and then, oh, a miracle!!!! You are greeted by a Rostov canned ear, a 200g roe deer square, you can eat 100, at best, the rest are veins and bones, and a pork neck dried to the point of impossibility (I don't understand how it can be dried, but professionals work there). In general, you have "eaten", now try to say at least a word that something does not suit you, YOU are the ENEMY OF the EMPLOYEES OF the MIRSKY PASAD No. 1, they hardly care about the guests (small servants) at all, they should drink coffee, instead of meeting or holding guests, they should discuss the latest news to all friendly as a team on the summer terrace of the restaurant, but not to perform their official duties!!! It is a very unpleasant feeling to visit such a private institution with a high level of service.

A comfortable hotel. Food - 5 breakfast options to order from the evening. I can't say anything about lunch and dinner. We arrived late, we couldn't have dinner. Friendly staff. Very clean. We celebrated the wedding anniversary with a small company in the restaurant. We ordered a table by phone, but we did not pre-order the menu - we chose it upon arrival. Nevertheless, in the menu, each guest was able to choose a dish to his liking. I really liked the tender pork kebab, the guests - potatoes with meat in a pot, Julienne, chicken chop, French fries, rustic potatoes. The salads were also good.
The restaurant is located a little away from Mir castle (a few minutes by car), so there was no influx of visitors. Beautiful territory, there is a place to take pictures. I recommend.

The castle is definitely worth a look. Food is problematic- restaurants in the town have a solid C grade. Buses with tourists are crowded. The territory of the castle is very beautiful, especially in summer.

We stayed at the Mirsky Posad estate. A great place to rent a suite at an affordable price!!! And in the evening you can walk around the city
