The monastery is large in area.
Very beautiful views from the observation deck.
Be sure to keep an eye on the monastery's working hours.
Wonderful shopping malls. There are unique products.
One of my favorite and peaceful places🫶🏼
On the peninsula (khzi) you can observe the colorful views of Sevan. The lake can be sea blue, or turquoise, depending on the weather and the sun. Yes, turquoise color, like in the Maldives😁
On the way to the top, you will be able to observe and inspect paintings by artists who sell their works, there is also a souvenir (up the stairs to the church)
When you go up to the observation deck, be sure to go to the church, there are also beautiful views behind the church.
This place is so peaceful that it would be a sin not to pray and at the same time look at all the beauty of this area. I am grateful to God for such beauty of Armenia.
It is a very beautiful and spiritual place, the only tourists see themselves as pigs throwing garbage everywhere , despite the fact that there are garbage cans everywhere
A wonderful and magical place.
230 steps were overcome unnoticed. They say that people living in the mountains have their own special mentality and perception of the world. I am grateful to God and my friend for touching this beauty, the blue of the sky and Sevan, peace and grace in my soul.
It's a great place. Amazing view of the lake. Then I went down to the shore and spent the night on the territory of the cafe. I went swimming in the lake in the morning.
Stunning view of the azure lake, a very interesting place, on the way up to the monastery they sell paintings, all sorts of souvenirs, sing and play the guitar, it looks atmospheric
Stunningly… The view, as expected, is on the top five, although we got into a fairly cloudy day. The only thing that upset me was the not very well-groomed territory of the rest of the peninsula outside the monastery. Some kind of abandonment, a lot of garbage... why not clear this beautiful place?
A monastery on a mountain on a peninsula (it used to be an island). From the top there is a stunning view of the lake and mountains. There is an old khachkar in the monastery, the energy is special in this place. A must-visit.
And they also sell very tasty Gata at the foot of the stairs.
The place is ancient, there are beautiful views, but it is too crowded with tourists and dubious personalities around the parking lot below. Because of this, a trail of negativity remains and a sense of sacredness is lost
.
The monastery is magnificent in its beauty on the shore of the most beautiful Lake Sevan. Climb the steep stairs, be ready - you will need a breathing apparatus.
In sunny weather, you can enjoy the most magnificent views of Lake Sevan and the surrounding mountains. The buildings date back to the VIII century AD, and contain a minimum of updated details - the most authentic buildings that have been preserved through the centuries open to your eyes. I recommend you to visit
