An old church, now the territory is increasing, a new church has been erected nearby. Father Peter Goroshko baptizes in it. He serves in Karaganda, in the monastery founded by St. Sebastian of Karaganda. Archimandrite Peter was the altar boy and driver for St. Sebastian. Now he is over 80, he is the confessor of the monastery and a priest of the church - he baptizes and sings the funeral service himself - so every week he goes to communion at the local cancer hospital! The priest is simple, joyful. We are very much loved and revered by the people.

Everything here reminds us of Father Sebastian and Mother Abbess Sebastian. The prayer environment, everyone is friendly, but not intrusive. After the Liturgy, everyone is invited to a meal! Inside of which there is a sticky father Sebastian!
