A very beautiful old building. The interior is perfectly preserved. there is a free parking lot. ancient icons have been preserved. there is a constant large number of visitors. The monastery's location offers a beautiful view of the city of Mtskheta.

It offers one of the best views in Georgia. You will see the city of Mtskheta with the majestic Svetitskhoveli Temple and the confluence of the colorful Kura and Aragvi rivers.
If you have already reached Mtskheta, then you should definitely visit this place. We used taxi services in the town itself, the trip cost 20 GEL.
As I understand it, this building is considered the oldest in the country.
