A chain of motels in Berlin. I first settled in a motel, before that there were mostly hotels. Therefore, the first impression was not very rosy. A small room. In the first hours, the air conditioner did not work and it was stuffy and uncomfortable. I went down to the reception and after a couple of hours the air conditioner was turned on. I was very surprised by the lack of a toothbrush))), a trifle, but I was surprised. The bathroom and toilet are combined. Ascetic, but acceptable. Clean and tidy. Liquid soap and shampoo are available. Clean towels, of course. There is no safe in the room for storing documents and valuables, there is no refrigerator, there is no closet for things, everything is hanging on a hanger. By the way, on the fifth day of my stay in Berlin, I got used to the conditions of the motel. The breakfast is standard cheeses, sausages, eggs, salads and fruits. Drinks include a standard set of coffee machine and juices. There is a lounge bar on the ground floor (the prices are not quite motel, but a good five-star hotel))). But you can arrange with the bartenders to bring food with you and comfortably sit down to dinner with the whiskey you brought, but carefully and not in full view of all visitors). For example, we took a table in the breakfast room and had a quiet dinner, having previously informed the bartenders (it is mandatory to clean up after ourselves). On weekends, the motel is filled with visitors from the regions of Germany who came to hang out, take a walk, etc. to the capital. The location of this particular motel is very convenient for shopping, there is a whole street of shops nearby (literally a 10-minute walk), as well as the oldest supermarket. The metro station is a five-minute walk away. The Berlin Zoo is within walking distance. Near the metro station there is a chain store of EDEKA products, very reasonable prices and a good selection of food, beer and spirits))). The motel does not have a swimming pool, a fitness room, and in principle there is nothing else except rooms, a bar and a dining room. Came, slept, left.... no frills, but clean, rooms are cleaned every day. The cost in July for a day's stay with breakfast included cost 92 euros per day.
