I traveled from Yerevan by minibus. The driver explained everything and told me where to get off and where to go, what to see. Very friendly people explained and told everything in the temple. I got into the service at the Gayane temple. I was a little surprised that all the notes (about repose and about health) are free. You only buy candles.

Pros: there is supposedly a spear used to finish off Jesus and a piece of wood from Noah's Ark. A cheap restaurant, an average check of 600 rubles per person. Cons: the rest of the territory and the museum are far-fetched exhibits that do not have any historical value.

A place that will be interesting to everyone, regardless of religion or even attitude to faith. An opportunity to touch the history of Armenia and the history of the Armenian Orthodox Church and see a lot in a short time. Even if there is no guide, the place is interesting. I definitely advise you to visit the refectory and have lunch.
