The hotel is good, we lived in a Deluxe room. The furniture is new, comfortable mattresses, good household appliances in the room. Breakfast was included in the price - everything is delicious, there are enough dishes. There is a small rooftop pool.
But there were a couple of nuances:
- The first nuance ran along the wall in the bathroom on the very first day. (Cockroach). A couple of days later, he also cheerfully crossed the refrigerator.
- In a 5-star hotel, instead of mugs, there were cardboard cups in the room, which we never changed or supplemented. There were also no bathrobes and hard soap, not to mention personal kits with a conventional razor and toothbrushes. It wasn't critical for us, but relative to other hotels, the difference was noticeable.
- There was no foot towel
I am sure that the last 2 points would have been easily solved through the reception, but we did not have the strength to do it after the excursions 🙈

I liked the hotel. It is 40 minutes by metro from the center of Dubai.
We walked 2 km to the metro on foot.
The transfer to the beach takes people several times.
The staff is friendly and respectful.
We took breakfast , lunch and dinner . Breakfast is delicious, but I eat simple food, I had enough. Lunch to choose from, it was quite tasty. The buffet dinner was also good and delicious. Not 5 stars, but you can eat quite well.
The room was spacious, they changed the water, towels and there was a stove, dishes, washing machine, TV, air conditioning, everything necessary for life. They gave me coffee capsules and cream for free. The tourist fee for the stay is not large. There is a swimming pool and a gym - the pool is small and there are not many sun beds. But it's cozy. We only had enough space and a sunbed. Overall, I am satisfied with the hotel. There is a shop nearby where prices are relatively low in Dubai, you can buy chips, chocolates and other necessary things. Sockets are needed with a triple entrance , they were also bought for pennies at a nearby store . Nearby, the Uzbek cafe - it seems to be called that - is adapted for Russians and is delicious, as our people at the hotel say. In general, we lived here quite well. They didn't pay a lot of money without showing off. We sunbathed, ate and rested. We took the subway to the center. Guided tours are sold inside the hotel or you can take them everywhere in advance. It's a long walk to the beach, it's not obvious yet because the large beach area is blocked. We didn't expect this and wandered for a long time on the first day. It is better to use a transfer.

We got a spacious room with a fridge, stove, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and even a washing machine. It's a little dirty, but cleaning is every day. I really liked the breakfasts: a variety of fresh fruits and everything. There's not much meat, but we didn't notice it. From the hotel, transfer from the tram to the beach, after lunch to the shopping center. The beaches in Al Mamzar Park are excellent, beyond praise. There is a swimming pool on the roof. We had a rest from November 20 to 26. It's not even a hotel, a hotel with old furniture. There is no beauty nearby. The staff is polite, there are no Russian speakers at all. The kitchen is spicy, the food wants the best. Dinner is the leftover meal from breakfast. Oatmeal porridge was caught 2 times for breakfast, the queue for an omelet. We went to a nearby Uzbek restaurant for dinner. It is very far to the beach on foot, the transfer is small. Not everyone will be able to get there. Towels do not change, if they can ask for them, there were no towels for hands and feet. Tea, coffee and water are left every day. I do not recommend the hotel!

Nice city apartment! The room is constantly cleaned, clean. Add soap / shampoos / balms. They bring water every day. No noise, we slept soundly)). The staff is friendly. The breakfasts are excellent! The hotel is located 20 minutes walk from the metro. We went). There is a small shopping center 10 minutes away on foot. There's a good grocery store there - Carefure. We bought Australian beef steaks for dinner there - I recommend it. There are small kitchens in the hotel rooms, but a steak can be cooked.
There is a free shuttle service to the beach and to the shopping center from the hotel.

I liked the hotel.
The furniture is not new, but it does not bother at all.
I didn't understand why everyone was writing about mattresses, but they were really amazing. You sleep like a baby.
There are no cockroaches, but we lived on the 1st floor. The service is good, the staff is trying their best.
The food is quite specific, but you can always choose something.
For breakfast: cereals, yoghurts, pancakes, tomatoes, cucumbers, Feta cheese, scrambled eggs/omelets
Drinks: black coffee, orange juice, lemon+mint lemonade, tea. You can ask the waiter and they'll make a cappuccino.
Fruits: pineapple, watermelon, melon.
For dinner: 2-3 types of meat, but with a twist (not for me), vegetables, grilled fruits on Fridays, but we didn't see much grilling
There is a cool cafe with Uzbek cuisine nearby: chebureks, shurpa, manti-there is everything. It's nice to sit there and the takeout is well packed.
It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach. The beach is currently closed for infrastructure construction, but there is an entrance a little further away. We were on the beaches alone, us and the lifeguard.
In January, it is quite possible to swim, the water is clear, there are no waves at all. Everything is cool.
Now shops and cafes will be built and the price will increase significantly.
It takes 25-30 minutes to walk to the metro.
If the hotel were closer to the beach and to the subway, there would be no price.

We rest from November 8th to 17th. More of a hotel than a hotel. The rooms are not fresh, and the smell is worth it. We took two rooms. The windows in both are into the well, inside, for the first time we see this. No balconies. They only have suites, like. The food is not very good, according to the level of Turkish triples. For breakfast, they ate only an omelette, for which there was always a queue. There's just nothing else to take here. Sometimes there was porridge. You need to ask the waiter for coffee. Almamzar beach is 40-50 minutes on foot, 10 minutes by bus. But he only goes there at 9-30/10 in the morning, and they barely got into him all the time, he has 14 seats, and there are a lot of people, and you have to wait for him for 20 minutes again until he returns from the beach again. It's also packed back at 13-30/14-00. There is also one flight to Deira Mall at 16:00, but it is also packed and not everyone will fit. It's not close to normal shops either, about 20 minutes. There is a small one right next to the hotel, 20 meters away, but sparse. Al-kyada metro station is a 20-25 minute walk away. The towels in the room are huge and uncomfortable. There are no normal ones. There is not a single Russian channel on TV! There are constantly not enough towels for the beach. The staff seems to be good, but they don't speak Russian at all. There is not much place to walk around the hotel, the place is like on the outskirts.

The most honest review!
I have a hotel business in Russia, I will leave a constructive, not an emotional review!
Minus 1*:
- there is not a single administrator at the reception who speaks Russian!
Minus 2*:
- there are no red meat dishes in the restaurant! Not once in 9 days. There is chicken and fish. There is a very poor menu for a 5* hotel! We escaped in the restaurant "Chaikhona 1". There are problems at breakfast: no forks, spoons, no cups for tea, milk. Everything that happened is over, and the clean is not brought into the hall. There are no wet or dry wipes. Never and nowhere! The food is very low in calories.
Minus 3*:
For a family of 4 people, 2 towels are brought. Upon our request to bring 2 more towels, we were told that 2 towels are provided for our room! (Although we paid 1350 dirhams extra for our 2-room room upon arrival.
In the rooms, the bed linen is torn, tired, and full of holes. This is not acceptable for a 5-star hotel.
Shampoo, gel, conditioner will not be found in bottles. They just don't get topped up. All the bottles were empty at check-in. Nothing was filled during the stay, although they wrote notes to the maids that there was no shampoo.
There are no bathrobes. Dishes in the room for 2 guests - 2 plates, 1 plate and 1 fork.
I do not recommend it!

We took a 2-room apartment for a family of 5 people. The rooms have absolutely everything except a hair dryer. Gorgeous gels, shampoos, body lotions. The beds are bombed. Cleaning is daily.
All household appliances are available - stove, washing machine, microwave, refrigerator. In short, everything is for self-cooking, which is important if there is a baby.

We lived in a large 2-room suite with a kitchen and 3 bathrooms. The room is clean, the cleaning is on time. The furniture is old. Both hair dryers were not working in the bathrooms. No one speaks Russian at the reception, but they brought a new hair dryer right away. They also gave me 2 adapters for sockets. But the coffee machine broke down 3 times.
The beach is 10 minutes away by car. The transfer always left on time. If everyone couldn't fit in, I made a second flight. You can use the free city beach, or you can go to the Orodskaya park with beaches (for a fee).

Hotel accommodation starting from January 31, 2025, room 216, second floor, windows overlook the well, even during the day it is dark like in the basement, they are constantly forced to turn on the electricity. The furniture in the room is old and tattered, there are two dishes and two old pots, and two cardboard cups, and this is a Movenpik!!! There are no bathrobes, two bath towels and that's it, even in Turkey there are always towels for feet and hands, but not here!!! From the first day of arrival, I basically go to the reception and demand to replace the room, the reaction is that the hotel is full, come tomorrow, this is exactly what I expected. This is not a Movenpeak, but an ordinary hotel on the outskirts of Dubai.

The hotel itself is good, but the service suffers a lot.

In general, the hotel is normal, but not 5 * that's for sure!! The rooms are tired. The staff is responsive and respectful. The location is great. Bed linen is changed almost every day, but the sheets are sometimes patched ((the kitchen is normal, there are no dishes and appliances by default, you need to ask for them several times after checking in. The pans are terribly old. Our room was 38 m2, enough for two. The pool is heated, sun loungers and towels are free. The advantage of this hotel is its close location to the beach and Al Mamzar Park. Korefur supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, seafood and fish are always fresh, vegetables and herbs in a large assortment. The general opinion about the hotel and about the rest in general, was pleasant! I recommend ☺️

We arrived in Dubai on April 16, the day of the universal flood. 3 days were booked, but on the first day we could not get to the hotel. No one answered the phone. I had to book a night at another hotel.
Moreover, Movenpik Al Mamzar did not compensate us for anything. Overall, this hotel is not bad. But you need to approach the staff with any request 100 times.

In Dubai 8 times. We wanted a hotel closer to Mamzar beach... we found a movenpik... and one disappointment.
It started with the fact that the room is old, the furniture is "dead". There are no slippers, bathrobes, hair dryer in the room, in a 5-star hotel room they give only 1 large towel per person and one small one for two. There is a stove, refrigerator, but no plates, saucepans ... nothing!!!
Transfer to the beach: this is generally a separate story. There is one small minibus for 12 people. If there are more people willing, get there yourself. The driver of this bus considers himself in charge of this hotel. He tries to educate all the guests, tries to point out something to everyone, etc. a very unpleasant type.
In short, we will definitely not go to this hotel anymore, and I certainly do not advise you
