Excellent hotel, very pleasant lobby, stylishly decorated for the New Year. The food is varied and of good quality, the SPA area is acceptable, the pool is not large, but it's enough to cool off after a couple, the gym is small, but there are a lot of exercise equipment. The location is good, there are many attractions within walking distance, the staff is inconspicuous but attentive, the rooms are cozy. I liked everything. If I'm still in Samarkand, I'll definitely choose this option.

I have stayed at this Samarkand hotel several times over the past 10 years.
It's always kind of semi-deserted,
comfortable beds, quite edible cuisine, excellent breakfasts and well-trained friendly staff. Its wonderful location, close to the historical monuments of Samarkand, allows you to take evening walks and admire the beauty of the city. Of course, there is one small disadvantage - this is a SPA complex that lives its own life and with an organization that is missing and necessary for a SPA. There is no reception that should facilitate and organize your vacation and SPA treatments. We give a good 4 stars.

Quick and friendly check-in.
We are impressed by the beautiful lobby, high-quality bathroom, and good sound insulation.
It was nice that they left a compliment in the room for the review and the Instagram photo.
The breakfasts are not bad. But there are many places where there are no signs of what kind of pies or desserts are there... somewhere there were already empty plates or there were no spoons to take. I would add staff for breakfast.
It's a pity we couldn't evaluate the outdoor pool.
The rest was generally excellent, several friends have already booked a hotel based on our recommendation)
The disadvantage is that the exchange machine did not work and did not accept currency for accommodation.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel in March 2025. The rooms exceed all expectations in terms of comfort and design. Tea station, bathrobes, slippers and a full cosmetic set. I was especially pleased with the 2.2-extra King size bed. The staff rushes to help on any request. The refined and thoughtful interior of all locations. I have not seen such breakfasts even in 5 * in the Emirates. Excellent coffee, exquisite decoration. Its desserts and croissants, it's just a delight!!! Bravo to the staff and management! I recommend it and I want to come back!

Nice hotel! We made an early check-in for an additional fee when the hotel is fully loaded. Excellent location, everything is within walking distance, all the sights. Excellent breakfast and excellent restaurant at the hotel, everything is very tasty, good alcohol for a good price tag. For hookah lovers, we recommend a street bar at the hotel, there are excellent hookahs there. The outdoor pool is very cold, it's hot outside, and the pool is icy) there is an excellent gym. The staff is also wonderful. In the hotel, just do not change the money for a very small rate. Do not be afraid to change people on the street, the normal exchange rate is 130 per ruble.

Right now we are celebrating the New Year in this hotel, our table is located next to the exit to the street through which the staff regularly walks. So, through these doors, icy air from the street blows through everyone at our table. We asked the hotel manager four times to put up a screen or close the doors so that there would be no icy wind on the guests. All our requests were ignored.
They didn't apologize to us, they didn't try to do anything, but they gave us blankets that didn't save us from the draft in any way.
A recommendation to the management of a 5* hotel is that if you have a 5* and you are part of the brand, you must think through such things, you must provide comfort for the guest, walk the guest's path from the hotel entrance to the shower or the table in the banquet hall.

The hotel is generally quite good. Beautiful lobby, clean, well-maintained rooms. But the service in the restaurant is just disgusting, definitely not the level of Muvenpeak. Everything ends at breakfast all the time, the staff can not cope. There's always something missing, one dish or another. And the breakfasts are poor, to be honest. An excellent comfortable hotel in the very center of Samarkand within walking distance from the main attractions. Clean rooms with good sound insulation and very comfortable beds, cool outdoor pool (did not use the indoor one). The only thing you can cling to is they give you only 2 bottles of water a day, on top of that it is already paid, which is quite petty for a hotel of this level

We stayed at the hotel from December 18-21, 2024. We really liked it. We cleaned and changed towels every day. The staff is very helpful. The food is very tasty and varied. The location is just great, 20-30 minutes walk to all the attractions. I recommend the hotel from the bottom of my heart.

The lobby is cool, the veranda is cool, the conference rooms are not bad. The rooms are clean, medium in size, but very austere, minimalistic. I didn't have enough atmospheric paintings or other accessories for comfort. And so everything is in the rooms. The main advantage of the hotel is a very cool location relative to the center, the old town, Registan, the main attractions, and in general the area is excellent.

A cool hotel.
The interior is exquisite, with attention to detail.
A great selection of delicious dishes on the buffet for breakfast. We had dinner at the restaurant according to the menu - it was also good, but we waited a long time.
We visited the pool and the sauna inside - well, we didn't swim outside. A little loud, but nice, clean. The sauna is large, the pool is small.
There is even a nail file in the individual accessories in the room.
The location is excellent, in the city center, a beautiful park is laid out in front of the hotel.

I give 1 star first of all for the restaurant. I came in for breakfast at 9.15am today. There were a lot of people who walked around with empty plates and didn't understand what to have for breakfast.
Most of the trays and dishes were empty for a long time, the cutlery was out and no one was going to take them out, the glasses were out. By some miracle, I waited for some food and went to pour myself some tea. The last straw of my patience was the lack of water in thermoses from where to pour boiling water. I had to beg for water for a long time and wait for 15 minutes. I didn't get the tea. In a raised voice, she asked to bring it to the table.
A table with bread, pastries, jam, and desserts stands in the center of the hall. There were no options to take the jam, since they do not have sockets for cooking.
The quality of the food.
After about 25 minutes, I managed to get myself food, utensils, glasses, water for tea, and tea itself. It would seem that this was happiness, but it was impossible to eat this one. Everything was tasteless and looked unappetizing.
And the icing on the cake is what's going on behind the screen in the kitchen area.
When I needed an extra fork,
I had to look for her again. For a positive result, I looked behind the screen in the kitchen area to call the staff. Well, I saw dirt and unsanitary conditions there, of course.

Mixed impressions
The rooms are excellent, the check-in is also OK, a cool outdoor pool, a good spa with only a hammam, sauna and another pool.
But the hotel feels, to those who are in the subject, a low level of management, some kind of abandonment in the processes, this is especially clearly seen at dinner:
- waiters are not trained, confuse orders, do not know basic things when serving dishes
- the kitchen gave us food for more than an hour, it was not particularly critical for us, but the poor Frenchman with three children, to put it mildly, had already begun to swear, as the children had already begun to cry
- the taste of all the dishes brought was disgusting, we regretted that we did not go to a restaurant in the city itself
- the choice of alcohol is minimal, although it is wide on the menu, the waiter honestly said nothing has changed for a month. For those who do not know, the lobby bar in the hotel brings in large and profitable revenue, but again, the management is lost somewhere
- we thought at least the breakfast would be normal, but it's not that bad, but there is scarcity, cherries and other fruits are already on the market, but the hotel has only apples in the assortment, a bread basket with toast bread (although there is no toaster) and crumbs from the finished bread, which no one brought during breakfast
In general, if food is not important, then feel free to stay, the pool and normal rooms compensate for everything.
And the hotel, please do not write to me in response: like we will work with the staff, I would first deal with the managers, and then I just worked with the employees

Great hotel. The room is standard, like all 5*, I really liked the quality of individual hygiene items. In craft paper and of high quality. The location is top-notch! For all attractions, it takes 10-15 minutes on foot. A well-lit boulevard in front of the hotel. The hotel has a small swimming pool with a hammam and sauna. Anyone who wants to celebrate the New Year in Samarkand - explore the possibility of New Year's Eve in restaurants - you will be a little surprised by the local traditions (most establishments before 23.00) as well as the bar/ restaurant in the hotel.

Disappointment
I expected the same level from Movenpik as in Moscow, but no, unfortunately
1. We were languishing from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., well, as it should be, but I'm sure we could have settled in if we wanted.
2. The room is smaller, the window is low, like in the attic, they said it was because I was alone. Just a tin can.
3. The manager did not come out to solve the problem, waited 20 minutes. I warned you that I would write a review.
4. And the strangest thing is, the pool that made the choice wasn't working, they were waiting for the season, it was 37 degrees outside, and it wasn't the season for the pool and terrace. How's that? well, where's the info on the site, be honest, Movenpik.
I had to drink liquor in the garden on dirty folded chairs, well, it's summer, friends, and you're not ready!
Only 5 guys from the bar know how to solve all problems, and they found a charger (I offered to sell it at the reception, there was no time), and they will find ice, and a plate for strawberries.

The hotel is one of the best in Samarkand, with excellent technical equipment in the rooms, but unfortunately very dirty windows blocked the view of the beautiful outdoor pool.

A very nice hotel. It's clean and beautiful. The hall is huge. The staff is very friendly. The spa is not bad. After a day of excursions, it's great to relax in the spa. Take a shower in the hammam sauna and swim in the pool.

I spent 7 days there, as the training was held at the same hotel. Very friendly staff, beautiful large lobby and conference room. About the food: the breakfast is good, though not big. The first few days we had lunch and dinner, but the food turned out to be greasy. I was on the 7th floor, overlooking the mountains. On the ground floor there was a gym (where no one was except me), as well as a small swimming pool with sauna and hammam
