Once upon a time it was just a hill, from which we used to go sledding in childhood. I was pleasantly surprised to visit this Castle on an auto tour of the Golden Ring of Gomel region. Excellent reconstruction of the Castle! Everything is just great!! Great views from the observation decks. I, who have visited dozens of ancient fortresses, really like everything here. The museum, its contents and staff are simply lovely. Despite the fact that we arrived outside of working hours, we were allowed in and had a short tour. Native and ancient places. Mozyr is a contemporary of ancient Kiev and Novgorod, much older than Minsk. It is only older than Turov (aka Mezhimostye, aka Vidolichi, now Yurovichi), it is generally several thousand years old, one of the oldest cities in the world (modern Turov "moved" in the XI century).

Good afternoon! We once went to the beautiful city of Mozyr, an interesting town is not big, but there is a place to walk, an embankment, a park, not bad cafes nearby, also on the mountain not far from the embankment the local landmark "Mozyr Castle" ,entrance is paid, but the price is symbolic, in general the city of Mozyr is worth a visit, we were here at the end of November, and despite the weather, there was a place to walk, I think that during the warm period in Mozyr it will be even more interesting.Thanks to everyone who was interested in my review!

An interesting place to stop by for a weekend walk. There is a great view of the square from the towers. I was very impressed by the wildlife museum, which was included in the price of the walk. The prices are pleasant.
