One of the most important museums in the Vatican. The museum dedicated to ancient sculpture was founded by Pope Pius VII. It takes your breath away when you enter a spacious corridor, in the niches of which full-length sculptures, busts, and sculptural compositions are displayed. However, my husband said that the faces of these ancient Romans were somehow "not Roman" :)) In general, I criticized him for nothing, for nothing!! :)) And I really enjoyed wandering between these beautiful statues.
An excellent museum for lovers of painting and sculpture. There are a lot of paintings, there are Raphael, Caravaggio, Titian and many others. The museum is very large, it takes 1.5-2 hours to see everything. The first floor (in Russian, the 2nd floor) can be viewed freely by buying tickets, and the second only in time. There are few people, you can buy tickets without pre-booking and purchase. The second (in Russian, the 3rd floor) consists of a large art gallery. The ticket is 15 euros. A very beautiful park around, a must-visit.
