A great museum. The history of the company is famously shown in the context of world history. The building is well thought out both from the point of view of the distribution of flows and from the point of view of the organization of the exposition. I definitely recommend you to visit. Even if you can't see the car.
A cool Mercedes museum, it is frustrating that there are not many significant moments of history associated with our compatriots on the alley of historical events.
This Is A Really Cool Auto Museum, A Legendary Collection. It's a pleasure to walk with Friends and admire such beauty. I wish everyone to visit this place. You Will Get only positive Emotions.#Stuttgart # , Friends,I Love You,💋. Thank you to my Friends for the Hospitality
A large space. Everything is well equipped, you can watch everything live. It is useful that there are many signs with information, and you can not just look, but also read. I liked the historical department the most. Having reached the modern one, we were already tired and it was not so) We bought a toy merc in a souvenir shop)))
Upon returning from another business trip to Germany, I flew through Stuttgart, where friends live, on the day of departure I had time in the morning and I decided to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The ticket price is the same as in BMW-10 euros. But the layout of the museum and the history, of course, have their own.
I enjoyed walking through the halls, from ancient cars of the early 20th century to Fomula-1 cars. There are interesting installations that can be tested. Downstairs, in the basement, there was a very interesting and unusual interactive exhibition dedicated to the capabilities of our brain, which added charm to the tour. Yes, it's funny that in one of the halls I involuntarily overheard a conversation between two museum curators who were whispering away from the visitors - in Russian (!) Language :). Our people are everywhere :)
An interesting collection of cars. An equally interesting selection of cars from private collectors (on the 1st floor).
The inspection of the exhibits is organized in the form of a spiral descent (the beginning of the inspection is from the upper, in my opinion, 8th floor). This is similar to the Porsche Museum, only there is a bottom-up inspection.
Important events (apparently from the point of view of the museum management) are displayed on the walls, along the left. There is a bias towards certain events in relation to the USSR - there is about the launch of the 1st space satellite, there is not about Gagarin's 1st space flight. But there is about the landing of Americans on the moon, about the collapse of the USSR. They also politely kept silent about Germany's loss in World War 2, but they told about the Marshall Plan ...
In general, if the organizers of the museum wanted to tell about the development of the Mercedes brand in the context of history, then some of the historical events they cited are not directly related to this.
It is very informative, a huge multi-storey exposition, stunning views from the upper floors. There is a shop, cafe and car dealership at the museum. Everything needs to be visited, it's worth it
A huge collection and legacy of Mercedes.
Everything has been worked out and thought out very well.
A detailed description of the exhibits + a complete history with diagrams and drawings. A large souvenir room where you can get books, key rings and other cool things.
Everyone will have fun, even if you are not fond of cars! I advise you to visit!
Make sure to plan a visit to this museum when you are going to go to Stuttgart! And most importantly, take your time. Even just standing next to this legend is worth a lot. The exposition is very interesting!
If you are not indifferent to cars and find yourself nearby, do not pass by. I am not a fan of Mercedes, but they were the first and lovingly built a museum, collected exhibits, restored some unsaved cars according to drawings. The audio guide is also in Russian. 10 euros is not that much money.
That's how you need to treat history. Comparing our Kubinka park - one of the complete collections of tanks and the Mercedes Museum - the quality is on the German side.
