The museum is small, the exposition is interesting, it is beautiful inside and in the courtyard. The exhibits have signs in several languages, you can understand everything. It's worth a visit. The staff smeared the impression of the visit – they bought a ticket at the entrance, asked to show the ticket again in one of the halls, and counted the QR code. At first we thought that they needed internal reporting. But then they found out that they were the ones who "took" the cashback from the check, which the locals could return. It is ugly and unfair to do this in silence. Ask, foreigners will give it to you anyway if they don't need it. And we couldn't use it anymore. It's not about the money, there's not much, but you don't have to do it on the sly. If you are a resident and use a cashback refund, keep this in mind.

A very beautiful and interesting museum, a packed tour, and an amazing building! I really liked everything! Although the tour took a long time to achieve. There were no guides on Sunday, the receptionist told me to come on Monday morning. But on Monday, the ticket office threw up their hands, and there were no guides. We explained that we stayed in Tashkent for another day only because of their museum, and after 15-20 minutes the guide was found. And it turned out to be just a wonderful professional! That's the story :)

I was very impressed with the museum building! We walked around and looked at the walls and ceiling! A very cozy courtyard. I also liked the miniatures and decorations presented. You can listen to a free audio tour about all parts of the exhibition. Definitely worth 40,000!

All the splendor of this museum cannot be anticipated without tasting the zest of a historical excursion into the past! Imagine the city of that time in 1900!? There are single-storey buildings all around and mostly simple mud huts with sloping roofs or walls. And that's how BAYSKAYA MANOR would appear in the midst of this squalor! That's what Alexander Alexandrovich Polovtsev, a Russian diplomat, orientalist, collector, and member of the Turkestan Archeology Circle, called his house. That's what fate prepares for a house whose owner rebuilt it with trepidation and love! The best craftsmen from all over Turkestan were engaged in the finishing! The interior design embodied the outstanding achievements of the national architectural decor of that time (they have so many names, I'm afraid to get confused), the main thing is that it has been preserved and can be seen firsthand! And then Tashkent was not the capital, only on August 17, 1930, the capital of Uzbekistan was moved from Samarkand to Tashkent. Despite the fact that Austrian prisoners of war were housed in the house after the 1st World War. And orphaned children settled here. It housed a pedagogical college, a school of factory training for railway workers in Tashkent, a training center for ganch and embossing carving, and an embroidery workshop. In 1937, the Museum of Handicrafts was located in the house. In 1960, the Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan. THE VALUE OF THE COMPLEX LIES IN THE FACT THAT THE SPIRIT OF THOSE CRAFTSMEN WHO PUT THE PIECES OF THEIR HEARTS AND DILIGENCE INTO THE PATTERNS DECORATING THE ESTATE ATTRACTS ALL CREATIVE PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR IT. YOU'LL FEEL IT WHEN YOU LOOK AT EVERY BRUSH STROKE OF THE CURL, AND THE DECORATIVE ELEMENT! IT IS IMPORTANT TO PRESERVE THIS VALUE OF UZBEKISTAN'S HISTORY AND PASS IT ON TO FUTURE GENERATIONS. STOP ALL KINDS OF NEARBY NEW BUILDINGS DESTROYING THE FOUNDATION AND WALLS OF THIS MUSEUM.

The museum is included in the list of monuments of cultural heritage of Uzbekistan (it is also known as the Polovtsev house). In addition to the fascinating history of this house, you can still have time to admire the oriental architecture and architecture created by order of a Russian diplomat. To get acquainted with the museum's Fund and visit souvenir and antique shops there, as well as a secret coffee shop. Thanks to the progressive leader and friends of the museum, unique events, exhibitions and beautiful holidays are held on its territory. There is a program of master classes. It should have long been a place of attraction not only for tourists and photographers, but also for residents of the capital.

It is a very beautiful museum, compact but capacious. We saw the creations of the masters. It's true that a lot of things were done after the 70s and 80s of the 20th century, although I would like to see more historical ones. There is another point, maybe it should be, but the curator of the museum could not answer the only question about how the drawing on the new doors was turned out (the old ones are immediately visible by hand)? Was the 140-year-old tree in the courtyard impressed

It is interesting and informative, the exhibits are described in three languages, Uzbek, Russian and English. The museum is not big but interesting, you can hang out there for a long time, it will be very interesting for foreigners. Tip: after buying the ticket, do not throw it away, they may ask for it in one of the halls. The entrance costs an acceptable 40,000 soums

A great museum. There are so many expositions here...It's super. A good place for conducting excursions for schoolchildren and children. The guides give an overview of the history of this or that exhibit. I would recommend everyone to visit this museum. After all, there is not only art here, but applied art, where it seems to me that every work has a soul, emotions, and joy attached to it....in short, the whole inner world of the master👍👍👍

A pleasant place, but the exhibits are simple, without a twist. It was possible to put an imitation of a dwelling, a koravan, in the courtyard. Arrange the halls so that it is clear how the furniture and dishes were used. The good attitude of the staff, cleanliness did not allow us to put less than 4 stars.

The entrance ticket cost quite a bit, but the exposition was one hundred percent. You don't even have to take the tour, just scan the barcode and enjoy the free audio accompaniment, but with the tour everything becomes even more colorful. This is a place where time is lost and you want to get into culture for as long as possible.

A museum of different things. The first part presents various woven products, then musical instruments and reconstruction of the Uzbek family's room. There is also a separate toilet. In the second part there is a large hall with a unique design. Various crafts, decorations, antique wooden furniture, tapestries with gold threads are further presented in different rooms. We also managed to visit the museum nights and see an interesting prepared show, as well as watch compositions in the dark, but with directional soft lighting. Other emotions and feelings, Entrance is paid, $ 2. It is located in the center, 10 minutes from the metro, there are no bus stops nearby.

Taking into account the realities of today (and tomorrow ...), "It is mandatory to visit with family for educational purposes and to instill patriotism in children and adults." Briefly about the main thing for businessmen who are guided by the wind to the East: "A compact museum, the exposition of which included incredible samples of embroidery, carpet weaving and wood cutting"! And there is a lot of wood in Mother Russia ... The main thing is short for Rousseau tourist morale: "There is a shop nearby with a large assortment of national jewelry, accessories, etc., and the outgoing smell of coffee is just something - it is impossible to pass by"!

It's a very colorful place. A small but cozy museum. Some of the main values of Uzbekistan are presented, namely carpets, musical instruments, knives, dishes, etc. And of course, all the exhibits are surrounded and supervised by pleasant and courteous staff. The place is suitable for connoisseurs of Oriental culture and for people who want to take beautiful photos and videos🎞

A gorgeous and beautiful museum. A must-visit. There are a lot of beautiful old and modern exhibitions. There are several halls inside: with carpets, paintings, dishes, etc. There is a shop where you can buy handmade products. There's a decent bathroom inside. You can take an audio guide. The entrance is like 4000 soums, but we came on June 1 with the children and the entrance was free. The location is very convenient close to other attractions. It works from 9 to 18.00. You can't touch anything with your hands, the museum staff strictly monitors this. Both the children and I were delighted with the beauty of the museum
