It's a good exhibit, definitely worth checking out if you live in Belgrade. Most of the exhibition is devoted to the works of local surrealists of the 20th century. Not only paintings are represented, but also small sculptural forms, photography, cinema and even music, albeit in modest quantities. Personal letters from avant-garde artists may also seem interesting, but you need to speak Serbian to read them.
The museum building should be mentioned separately. A fine example of the avant-garde in itself. It is very spacious inside, besides the permanent exhibition there is a place for a corner of children's creativity and some projects of local youth.
At the time of writing the review, the ticket cost 600 dinars. The experience of the visit is not fantastic, but the ticket price is well paid for.
A pleasant museum, interesting exhibitions, polite, ready to answer questions staff. There is a souvenir shop. There is a park around the museum with modern sculptures, which are very interesting.
