I'm telling you.
A great place for both children and adults. There are locomotives and wagons for different tasks and different eras. Kids are climbing everywhere, watching, it's very cool. In one loco, you can climb inside the driver's cabin and twist all the burps there. There were also military trains, where you can control a cannon. Not only children, but also adults, are genuinely interested in all this. But it is especially worth noting riding on rails on a trolley (a cabin that can be controlled by yourself using a lever). There's a queue of people who want to go to this cool attraction. We skated a few times. And it's free. Well, the entrance to the open-air museum costs a penny - 6 white rubles for an adult, and 4 rubles for a child. Visited in early August 2024.
I give this place 9 out of 10.
The museum is just super👍👍👍 There are a lot of equipment from different years, the guide told everything very well. Even just walking around the museum without a tour will be interesting. Children, and not only, can climb inside an old diesel locomotive and see how it is arranged from the inside, there is a carriage inside which there is a mock-up of the railway of the city of Baranovichi. In general, I recommend you to visit.
It's interesting there. It's just interesting, especially during mass events, when almost all the exhibits are open. There you can see, climb, touch, twist, and learn a lot of interesting things about railway transport. Exhibits, models, old pre-war and more modern, relatively. It will be interesting for children, and adults who love technology will also come in.
The other day I was in the glorious city of Baranovichi, and visited this museum with the children. In general, the museum is interesting, there are signatures under the exhibits, I would also like the year of production to be on all the exhibits.
At the entrance on the left there is a trolley on which you can ride (for free). Also a tip, if your children are preschoolers, then it will be enough for you to just walk, and in some places climb where it is allowed.
And if children go to at least 3-4 grades, take a guide, they will give you more information than on the signs, plus they will open separate carriages to conduct an excursion inside.
It's not a bad museum. Some of them were closed, so not all of them could be examined. But it's interesting to take a walk, you can climb everywhere and look outside. Inside, only one steam locomotive is open. But this is understandable. Children sometimes pull everything very enthusiastically, and supervision is needed everywhere.
You can take a ride on a trolley. Feel like an anti-aircraft gunner on an anti-aircraft gun that rotates 360 degrees and can raise the muzzle by 90. There is information about all the exhibits.
Of the cons. Payment in cash only! And toilet stalls, it smells strong.
A great place for children and adults. When buying a ticket, the courteous staff helped to navigate the expositions. There are a lot of mobile devices that you can interact with. I have a pleasant impression of this museum.
of the advantages: there is a large museum, a drywall (you can ride) also, a carriage with zines that children love so much ...
of the cons: the price is 6 rubles for an adult and 4 for teenagers and this is only the entrance in order to get into the carriage, the only one whose doors are not welded, you need to buy a separate tour, you can not without a guide... all the other expansions presented are with welded doors...
An interesting museum. Steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, repair equipment, wagons are assembled. You can ride on a handcar. The exhibits are being repaired, one of the locomotives was being prepared for painting.
The ticket price is quite acceptable.
I am pleased that I visited the museum. I recommend.
A great place that my son and I visited. There are many different techniques from the old days with their own history. You can ride on a real trolley. The only thing I would like is more open exhibits to appreciate the full power of the railway structure not only from the outside, but also inside)
A magnificent museum!
It is very interesting for both children and adults. You can make many discoveries for yourself: from the technique with which the railway is built, to the variety of rails in the section!
The main thing that I remember from my trip to Baranovichi: the museum of railway equipment and hundreds of speed bumps)) I definitely recommend you to visit! We looked at the exhibits with pleasure, walked around, climbed. They even forgot that it was stuffy outside and +30 °.
A very atmospheric place to visit with children from 4 to 14 years old
Everything can be touched with your hands, due to the disadvantages of the operating mode, but about an hour is enough for the entire exposure. There is a working hand trolley. The price is not biting, there are no additional charges. I recommend.
A great, interesting place. You can get acquainted with a lot of railway transport and everyday life.
It is best to arrive on a weekday, because we were on a weekend (Sunday) and some carriages were closed.
There is a good museum, a lot of different equipment: household and passenger trains, diesel locomotives, steam locomotives and much more. Rails, sleepers, trolleys and loaders. You can even ride on a handcar! But unfortunately you can't sit in the cockpit.
A very pleasant museum. It is not as big as in Brest, but there are very interesting exhibits. You can climb into one locomotive. Riding a trolley is generally great! The children will really like it. And adults too.
It was a discovery for me. A wonderful museum. There are many exhibits. Interesting exhibits, and types of equipment, which I did not even imagine what would happen. For example, tractors for railway work for eating on rails. I recommend it for a visit. You can spend 2 hours in the museum tightly.
It is better to take it with a guided tour.
A good museum, where a large number of different railway equipment is presented. Each exhibit has a plaque with information and history, it is a pity that most of the equipment is closed. There is also an opportunity to ride a trolley in the museum. Overall, my family and I enjoyed it.
The entrance ticket is 6 rubles, there is something to see, a lot of different equipment, some of it is almost 100 years old, you can ride on a trolley, and climb into one steam locomotive. I do not regret visiting at all for such a price. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in this topic.
An interesting outdoor museum. The employee at the entrance and the guide are very nice and considerate. The guide showed me everything, told me, it was very interesting! Thanks for the emotions!
An excellent museum of railway equipment. There are wagons of different times, as well as steam locomotives. Unfortunately, the entrance to them is closed, but you can climb them. You can also ride a handcar. Tickets are not expensive. A lot of emotions for adults and children.
The cost is 6p for an adult, 4p for a child. You can not use a card, only cash payment.
Family 20p visit-there is not much to see, I do not recommend going without an excursion. Half of the exhibits are simply rusty and overgrown with grass, there is no way to get into any car, even into those that were previously open, all the signs have burned out. The stairs that you can climb are half rotted.
In fact, you can enter one steam locomotive and ride on a trolley, there is no passage into any car
The rich exposition, the relatively low cost of visiting, the opportunity not only to see, but to touch the exhibits and even climb on them. The whole family really liked it
Wonderful museum, helpful staff! The children were generally delighted that they could touch everything, climb and even travel somewhere)) I advise everyone to visit! Delight!!

A great place for fans of railway equipment and of course kids. There are a lot of different exhibits. The price of the entrance ticket is very symbolic, but if you want to delve into the study of the topic in more detail and get inside several locomotives, then you need to book a guide in advance, because only 3 exhibits are open for independent viewing.
I really liked the museum, there are many trains of different types, it is interesting to read, see, take pictures. You can ride on a trolley, which is very popular with children.
Oooh, the kids drag me there every time, the museum is cool and children can climb EVERYTHING. They always run there!!!

A good museum, the staff and staff are friendly, always ready to explain, tell and provide any help, but there are many points about the organization of work:
1) Large expositions welcoming visitors from the side of the tracks and the Baranovichi Polessky station have faded and the paint has swollen.
2) In 2024, payment in cash only?!?
what is difficult for BDZ to install a QR code at the entrance under the EPIP for payment? For the description, they were able to do...
There is no chapel to the indignation, and this is in violation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated April 18, 2019 No. 148 "On the development of digital banking technologies"
An interesting museum, a lot of exhibits and a fairly large museum area. We were there a little more than an hour, you can stay longer to look at everything, or you can go faster if you are not too interested in the details. If we compare it with Brest, then this one is bigger, and there are more interactive exhibits. There is no indoor museum here.
A fascinating journey along the paths of the formation of the railway. The price for this museum, I would say, is symbolic. The child was delighted. Having seen the locomotives and on which you can also climb. You can ride a trolley. The sightseeing tour takes about 1 hour. If you are in Baranovichi, you definitely need to visit the museum. There are many impressions and there is something to remember.
A gorgeous museum. It is very interesting, there are many exhibits, there is even where to climb and what to ride. Of the nuances, there is no card payment, I had to run to the station to an ATM.
A good museum, a lot of railway equipment, you can climb on the equipment and look inside

An interesting place for those interested in rolling stock and railway infrastructure. In recent years, many exhibits have been restored. It is a pity that no new ones have been added in the last 10 years.
The child really liked it - you can climb, touch, twist, and not just look. It was interesting to get inside one locomotive. We went for a ride on the trolley. We were in the morning on Sunday - there were practically no people. The entrance fee is symbolic. Conclusion: we would not have gone to Baranovichi specifically for the sake of visiting this museum, but being here we visited and did not regret it. Only positive emotions!
The museum is very close to the train stations (railway and auto).
There are more than 70 exhibits on several hectares. Steam locomotives, a trolley (sat down-went), a hot car with stories, more modern options.
There are pine trees all around and, accordingly, the air is special.
Aerobatics - junior researcher Natalia Yarosh. Not a guide, but just a fairy tale. He tells it in such a way that you forget where you are and even who. Fascinating, interesting, humorous))
In general, it is interesting, the state of technology is different, mainly the Soviet period. There is almost nowhere to climb inside the locomotives. Such a museum is better in Brest. Filled with children - trolley and anti-aircraft guns
A very interesting Railway Museum. In general, the city of Baranovichi arose thanks to the railway and even a steam locomotive is emblazoned on the coat of arms of the city, so there cannot be such a museum here. The museum has steam locomotives: L-4540, L-0054, captured TE-5248, Eu-679-14, Er-788-85, Em-73-387 and shunting tank locomotive 9Pm-221. Diesel locomotives and a lot of different equipment from trolleys to track laying. You can ride on one of the trolleys yourself. The ticket costs 5 bel.rubles for an adult and 3.5 rubles for a student. but! Payment in cash only! They don't even accept MIR cards. The nearest ATM is at the train station.
Walking-wandering between the exhibits is easy and convenient, there are a lot of places and spacious, they do not "sit on top of each other". There were practically no visitors - no one got in the way in the frame, probably the rain dispersed everyone. If only it hadn't been pouring on my head. 🤔🤗
Here is a railway museum in the city with a steam locomotive on the coat of arms.
I recommend arranging an individual tour of the museum with a guide. Interesting story + closed wagons with expositions are opening . Very interesting for both adults and children
I liked it. Payment is in cash only. Keep this fact in mind, especially if you come to Belarus from other countries. The exhibits are interesting and fascinating. I really want to get into them, but... Only one steam locomotive is open.
In rainy weather, there were practically no people, no one interfered with taking pictures and walking. There is a trolley on which you can ride on your own for several meters.
