An amazing museum, a must-visit. Falk, Korovin, Serebryakova and other equally famous artists. Decorated with great taste. The ticket price is 1500 AMD
In the very center of the city there is a museum of Russian art , the collection of professor , doctor Abrahamyan . The content of the museum is impressive, the brochure says that "thanks to its very valuable collection.. the museum is known ... as the Small Tretyakov Gallery" because it contains works by Korovin, Roerich, Serebryakova, Benois, Grabar, Kustodiev, Petrov-Vodkin and many other artists. Some paintings are not behind glass , and this allows you to see every detail without glare . It's just amazing. The only thing I would like to do is to buy a souvenir brochure with a description of the museum and a list of works. But unfortunately the museum does not offer them . I recommend you to visit 🙂
A wonderful museum of Russian pictorial art of the bright, revolutionary period, namely the end of the nineteenth and the first quarter of the twentieth century.
Professor Abrahamyan left a memory of himself not only with his work as a doctor, but also with his passion and love, and a fine sense of Russian pictorial art.

The richest private collection of paintings by Russian artists. Which turned out to be in the academician's house... Thank you at least for the fact that you can see these masterpieces in the museum. I wonder how these masterpieces of art ended up in private ownership???
Serov, Korovin, Serebryakova, Nesterov, Kustodiev and many others...
A wonderful small gallery with paintings by famous Russian artists! There are paintings by Korovin, Roerich, Serebryakov, Benoit, Serov and many, many others. There aren't many people. You can have a wonderful time here for an hour and a half. Admission is 1000 AMD (less than 200 rubles)
I will try to be objective.
Pleasant staff, a lamp place, the price tag is only -1000 drams.
However, as for the paintings, the situation is as follows. Works from either an early period, sketches, unfinished, or those that "did not come in handy" in collections. I admit, there are decent specimens, for example Grabar. To understand that the great ones also started somewhere, this is the place)).
It's worth going, but without expectations.
This is my personal opinion, take a look and decide for yourself.
Not knowing a bit about painting, I got a tremendous pleasure. The gallery is 2-storey, spacious, but not endless. The ticket cost 1500 drams. Among the disadvantages: glare glasses (where they are) and lighting

A wonderful collection, a must-visit when traveling to Yerevan. Wonderful staff and the place itself is very significant in the building, which is a monument of Armenian architecture.
A magnificent museum! Falk, Korovin, Arkhipov, Goncharova, Petrov-Vodkin and others are the most famous masters of Russian painting of the late 19th- early 20th century. I got a great aesthetic pleasure!
