I'm absolutely thrilled!! This is a great museum on the university grounds. A large and interesting exposition. The tours are conducted by the head of the museum himself. The tour turned out to be very exciting. So much so that I didn't take any photos. We learned not only about the exhibits, but also talked about the fauna of the country and the Red book animals. This is one of the places that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend everyone to visit!!
It's a very nice museum. The collection is in excellent condition and is being updated. There are quite interesting and rare specimens. The manager met and conducted a very exciting and eventful tour. One of the most pleasantly memorable places in Samarkand. We were pleasantly surprised
A very quiet place located on the University grounds. We were lucky, the head of the museum met us, who told us and showed the exhibits in a very interesting and fascinating way. I would like to add even more to the museum's collection, which serves as manuals for students
One of the most vivid impressions of the Samarkand premises was left by this museum. A large collection of exhibits of the animal world. Interesting and rare specimens. A researcher at the museum conducted a tour -a real specialist, a master of his craft and an enthusiast. We learned a lot of interesting information from him. I didn't want to leave!! Definitely a recommendation to visit

One of the best and most soulful museums I've been to.
The museum at the University is not so easy to find. From the entrance to the university, you need to go around the building from the right and enter the courtyard, then turn left. If you don't find it, don't hesitate to ask the people in the yard.
There are many exhibits in the museum, and the local fauna is very well represented. There are unique specimens - an extinct type of tiger, a magpie from France or a local Samarkand owl. Stuffed small bird species are made at the highest level.
But the main thing is that the tour is conducted by a dedicated professional and expert in his field. University employee and taxidermist. He talks with passion, answers questions professionally, and it's obvious that no one understands this topic better than him. He prepared some of the exhibits himself or participated in their manufacture or delivery.
It was very informative and exciting. It's a pity that they didn't charge us any money. I really wanted to help these enthusiastic people who are doing such an important job of preserving the knowledge and heritage of the earth's fauna.
I sincerely recommend this museum, compared to the others in Samarkand, this one is just a pearl.
We accidentally found out about this museum, went in and did not regret it! There are many very interesting and rare exhibits in a small area. Fish and reptiles in formalin, bones, a huge number of stuffed birds and animals of local and exotic species. A unique stuffed Turanian tiger and other amazing specimens. A special pleasure is a conversation with the head of the museum. A scientist with extensive knowledge, a talented taxidermist, an enthusiast in his field and an excellent storyteller. Thank you very much!
We went to the museum on the way to the botanical garden and did not regret it. We were met by a wonderful head of the department of the local university, he is also the head of the museum, who gave us a tour, told us with interest and showed all the exhibits that were created, including by his hands.
Thank you so much for your hospitality, dedication to your business and for sharing your knowledge with us!
It's an interesting museum, there are a lot of exhibits, admission is free, maybe you'll get lucky and the professor in charge of this museum will tell you a little about the museum.

It's a very nice and cozy museum, despite the fact that it's "old Soviet".
Scarecrows will leave few people indifferent, I recommend visiting the fans of "crazy taxidermy".
A zoologist led us on a guided tour, telling us with interest about the difficult fate of the exhibits.
The collection contains the skull of an elephant that Temur brought from India on one of his hikes - perhaps this is the skull of an elephant that Temur personally saw.
It's a very interesting place. A very nice girl met and conducted a tour of the museum. There are enough exhibits, but most of them are from the 30s of the last century, which does not detract from their value, although the skill of taxidermists of that time leaves much to be desired.
We went to the greenhouse (on the university grounds) and an employee on the street advised us to go to this museum, which we did.
We didn't regret it, there were two of us and Bahodir (I'm sorry if it's not right) - he runs the museum, had a wonderful tour!
Kindly and with all the love for his exhibits, he took us through the museum and immersed us in history. He made some stuffed animals himself!
be sure to come in, and the university grounds are... very beautiful!
Surprisingly, there was a good collection of animals. Several halls with fish, satiating, mammals, birds.
The researcher gave us a short tour where he told us some interesting stories.
There is also a greenhouse on the university grounds. They allowed me to visit.

The museum is located at the university, we were warmly welcomed by an employee of the department and told in detail about the rich exposition of the museum, I recommend you to visit
A wonderful museum! Small, but very informative! Thank you very much, head. I went to the museum , had a wonderful tour, answered all my daughter's questions👍
The museum is small, but an incredible researcher works there, the head of the museum, who led us around, told us about the exhibits in a fascinating way, he himself made part of the effigies.
Every person related to natural science should visit this place. A large number of exhibits (allegedly 7,500). Including those that are extinct or listed in the Red Book. The tour was conducted by the director of the museum, Bahodir Shadievich Mukhammadiev, who knows each drug personally and told us about each with love. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!
