A small museum, but informative. The main exhibition is dedicated to Alyona Kish and Yazep Drozdovich, the most famous artists of the malyavanok. Pure Belarusian heritage, in Russia they have not heard about the little Dywans.
Take a tour (usually by appointment), it's much more interesting and understandable this way.
But if not, then the information from the tour can be read in the information stand.
A very cool museum.🔥🔥🔥The works that are presented are very beautiful.❤️❤️❤️There are very interesting exhibits.👍👍👍There is an interactive tour.❤️❤️❤️In short, the museum is very interesting , I advise everyone to visit .🔥🔥🔥
Just a delight.A very modern museum in its execution.Beautiful, very sincere and warm little girls ... such beauty and a warm feeling in relation to a simple, but such a sincere art.I recommend it for visiting in autumn or winter, when you really want something like this :))
The museum is wonderful. There are 2 expositions in a small area:a permanent one dedicated to Yazep Drozdovich and Alyona Kish, and a temporary one, which has not yet been changed. I liked both the artistic solution of the exposition and the exhibits themselves. I got the impression that I was in a fairy tale, a native fairy tale. It will be useful for both adults and children to visit the museum in order to touch the history and uniqueness of Belarusian folk art.
The museum is located within walking distance from the railway station. See the photo for the operating mode. The entrance fee is 5 rubles, you do not need to pay for additional photography. The museum building looks very attractive and authentic. The exposition consists of two small halls, modern renovation. We got acquainted with the exhibits on our own, but taking a tour, of course, would be even more exciting. I definitely recommend you to visit!
An interesting museum!
The "Malyavany dywans" are surprising. Thanks to the museum, I learned about this direction of our Belarusian creativity.
I will note the modern renovation of the museum-10/10!
An interesting permanent exhibition, the works of the authors are original. The museum itself is small, but everything is done mentally. In the hall of the permanent exhibition, you can watch films about artists (Alena Kish and Yazep Drozdovich). You can also buy cute postcards based on the authors' works at the checkout. If you are in Zaslavl, then the museum is definitely worth a look.
I definitely recommend it, be sure to take a tour, I got great aesthetic pleasure from the museum, from the story, and I am very glad that there is such a museum.
Small, but interesting. I learned about malyavanka for the first time from him. Subsequently, she ran through the works of Elena Kish and Yazep Drozdovich. I recommend you to visit if you are not indifferent to art)
Super museum, everything is clean and tidy. The light is well exposed, the territory is well maintained. I advise you to come in to at least see what small museums should look like.
We visited the Malyavanki Museum in Zaslavl on October 17.
A unique type of Belarusian folk art is painted wall carpets, "malyavany dywany" or "malyavanky", as they are called here. This trend in decorative and applied art is not known to everyone today, even in Belarus itself, which is explained by the very limited development of this genre in art in terms of time and place of distribution.
Malyavany dywans, which means "painted carpets", are large—sized paintings painted on homespun canvas or burlap of dark color with oil or homemade glue paints.
Malyavanki have been widespread throughout Belarus since the end of the 19th century. From about 1920 to 1960, this genre developed rapidly and was extremely popular in villages and villages throughout Belarus, and then just as rapidly declined and was almost forgotten.
The reason for this was the rapid development of industry and the mass production of TNP, so "carpets with deer" almost instantly replaced carpets hand-painted by local self-taught artists.
The art of carpet painting was not as widespread as weaving, but in each district there were one or two master artists who executed paintings to order. Some craftsmen, especially after the war, went to villages and worked for shelter and food.
Most often, such paintings were ordered by the bride for the wedding, they were hung over the marital bed and served as a kind of talisman. Wall hangings were in almost every home.
The largest collection of painted carpets is located in the Museum of Zaslavl. The most famous and original artists who worked in this direction are Alyona Kish and Yazep Drozdovich.
Гэта месца дзе павiнен пабываць кожны беларус. Музей невялiчкi, але ж усе добра арганiзавана з iнтарактыунай часткай. Дываны вельмi прыгожыя. Такога вы не убачыце нiдзе у свеце. Я б зрабiу iх брэндам.
A wonderful museum! Everything is very well done, the exposition is well selected and decorated. The tour was conducted by an employee Igor, it was very interesting. Definitely worth a visit.
A new museum building, with an unusual exposition that opens up an interesting and new part of Belarusian culture for me.
Among the disadvantages , a small exhibition area can be noted .
Prices - 5p for adults, 3p for students.
I recommend you to visit.
A stunningly beautiful modern museum. It is very interesting and interactive. The lighting is stunningly beautiful. It's a pity that we didn't take the tour, but it's easy to fix, the museum is very close to Minsk. I will definitely come to Tula again and definitely on an excursion.
A very pleasant and authentic museum. The guides conduct a conversation in both Russian and Belarusian. Tickets and the cost of the tour are right at very affordable prices. I recommend it to everyone who will visit Zaslavl
A wonderful museum! The most interesting exposition, the building is newly renovated, good indoor lighting. Be sure to take a tour - you won't regret it
A good and interesting museum. Interesting exhibits.A good souvenir shop with inexpensive postcards for 60 kopecks and unusual decorations and good magnets.
An excellent museum with a unique collection of original Belarusian art. Attentive, sincere staff. There is a parking lot. Not far from Minsk and the Minsk-Molodechno highway. You won't regret taking a look. I recommend
One of the best Belarusian museums, very modern, but at the same time atmospheric. I discovered the works of Alyona Kish, Drozdovich and unknown masters. Must-visit
A great idea, a very modern design solution for the building and a unique exposition. There is parking, including for the disabled. Access to the building has been organized for a FOUL, an entrance group has been adopted, a floor on one level, a bathroom, etc. Everything is very convenient! The staff is very friendly. Another tourist highlight in the city of Zaslavl.
The Museum of the Belarusian malyavanka is one of my favorites in Belarus!
There are very beautiful little girls by Elena Kish, the famous Yazep Drozdovich and other authors. It must be seen!
Malyavanki are carpets painted on canvases with aniline paints. They appeared in the middle of the century before last, as a replacement for then expensive woven carpets. Bright colors, naive plots, copying from other carpets, as well as postcards and paintings - that's what you can see in the very small, but very pleasant museum of the city of Zaslavl. It is necessary to add to this a very pleasant impression from communicating with the museum staff, who are ready to share their knowledge about the exhibits presented.
A very interesting, cool museum. For such a price, it's super! Very friendly staff, who explained some details of the story, and generally lifted the mood
An absolutely wonderful museum and a wonderful exhibition. I highly recommend taking a guided tour. We called in advance and booked a tour. I highly recommend it) it's worth a visit for sure)

I recommend you to visit, but it's better to take a guided tour, it's inexpensive. The museum is interesting, small, cozy, wonderful staff and souvenirs. It is better to take cash, there were problems with the terminal.
A wonderful museum, perfectly decorated, an interesting excursion. I would like a larger selection of souvenirs about the motives of high-quality babies
An interesting exposition, if you book a tour. It will be fast and boring without it, unless of course you are an expert in the field of Belarusian crafts
In Zaslavl, I visited the museum of painted carpets. They depict landscapes, people and the life of Belarusian villagers of the early 19th century. There is a drawing with a spiritual meaning, where the artist depicted a garden of eden created by God.
It was interesting not only to visit this museum and to see the culture of the people of that time from a new perspective.
A wonderful museum — small and cozy. Very new, because after repair.
It was interesting with the tour. And then walk through the halls again and look at everything slowly and carefully.
Thanks to the museum!
The exposition is impressive and inspiring, the staff are very pleasant and professional people. It's funny that there are interactive VR glasses
If you are in Zaslavl, take a look, you will not regret it
Цудоўны музей, які мы наведалі з сяброўкай. Ветлівы персанал, нечакана цікавыя экспанаты, прыемная атмасфера. Вельмі раю заглянуць сюды, калі будзеце ў слаўным горадзе Заслаўі!
