It is a very beautiful and interesting museum. I liked that the exhibition was made in the form of a library, I liked the books presented and was very pleased that you can view the manuscripts in electronic form. I highly recommend the audio guide about this place from izi travel. It's very interesting and informative.

The Atmospheric Museum. The museum is decorated in the style of an ancient European library. An interesting tour. The second largest globe in Belarus (the largest is also in Polotsk, in the university library).

Find out the schedules of museums. There are 2 of them in the same building! We were unlucky, the museum-library was closed. The printing museum is interesting, but not everyone will be interested. There are many copies presented, and there are originals too. But it is a very specific exposition.

There is no reliable information that the Epiphany school was located in this building of the 17th century. The building itself was rebuilt in the 1780s according to Quarenghi's project, and now the Simeon Polotsky Museum-Library and the Museum of Belarusian Printing are located here. I regret that I did not have time to visit them very much now.

We, like many guests from Russia, have not felt much difference between the sister countries for a long time. But after visiting the museum of Simeon Polotsky, we realized where the origins of the humble character and diligence of the Belarusian people begin - in scholarship and movement. I recommend starting the tour with the museum, and then visiting St. Sophia Cathedral, then the University (former Jesuit monastery). At first, the Museum will not seem entertaining at all, but soon you will realize that this is not necessary, as it will help you better adjust your perception. It is here, in Polotsk, that the geographical center of Europe is located, and the museum reflects the cultural fusion of Western and eastern European culture. You will see how the Belarusian luminaries of writing managed to interact with the Czech academic world and the Baltic, and at the same time exert a serious influence at the court of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich of Moscow. We left the museum fully prepared to study next year. It is best to visit the Museum on Sunday, and then, after walking for 7 minutes along the banks of the Western Dvina, visit the organ concert in St. Sophia Cathedral, which is usually held from 15:00-16:00. And then visit the University, next to which you can have a delicious and inexpensive meal in a cafe with billiards (Upper Castle). Well, then you can visit the mark of the geographical center of Europe, take pictures walking along the alleys of Polotsk, filled with sights.

It is located in the same building as the Museum of Printing. I strongly advise you to visit these two museums. Everything is very interesting. The atmosphere is appropriate. Residents of Polotsk and Novopolotsk generally need to go without fail.

The actual hall, which is shown in the photo, is the library. This is how the authors of this project imagined it and brought it to life. The showcases contain information about the life and works of Simeon Polotsky. It is located in the same building as the Museum of Printing. Not only tourists go to the library, but also students who use the books there.

The staff are boors, the prices are terribly expensive. Photo shoot in the courtyard (!!!) - $20 per person! They are trying to snatch money, well, just in everything!!! There is nothing to do here.
