We used to come here several times. They mostly liked freshly cooked trout and grilled cheese. The trout is still good, but we won't order any more cheese, we've over-salted it-it's impossible to eat, I want to wash it down right away. But yesterday there was an incident after which there was no foot here. Wine was offered for trial, after the trial it was possible to purchase in a large bottle. As a result, they gave one to try, and in a bottle water with a taste of grapes for 700 rubles. We didn't expect this from a family cafe. Sorry...
The Cafe-Museum lives off excursions - apparently, it helps the guides well - and we also got there a couple of times on the way to the Ritz. They wouldn't have dined there on their own. The interior is terrible, terribly tasteless, such "art" is only in the trash. The dishes are expensive, for example, the usual khachapuri 500 rubles, and at the same time dry shish kebab, tasteless compote, and in general the assortment is small. The menu on one page says that you will have to pay a 10% tip, but not everyone notices this. The toilet hole in the ground is bad, but still not like the design of the cafe and the creations of a local nugget - it's just blood from the eyes.
We strongly do not recommend it.
If by chance you were brought to this cafe by a surprise, or an excursion bus brought you to an impudent one, then you can order a boat here, but no more, everything else is a quiet horror, the trout is freshly cooked, it turned out to be very cold inside, the cake anthill was made a month ago or maybe even more, the service is 0 but 10% of the bill for He needs to be paid. The conclusion is, if possible, avoid this place!
It is a very unusual and interesting place. I had the opportunity to visit here for the first time 10 years ago. All wooden crafts are made by the owner of this museum. Every year there are more and more of them. Also, if desired, you can buy souvenirs or have lunch here. I definitely recommend this place to visit. It will be interesting, especially if you book a small tour where you will be told about each craft.
We came here with an excursion, IT WAS NOT DELICIOUS!
There are only two drinks - juice and juice (besides tea and coffee). I ordered juice (the juice is only one of the tangerines) and it was pulp, it's impossible to drink at all.
Meat was imposed! 100g. for 260 rubles., it was very salty!
I also had hominy and beans. They imposed a lot, but not tasty!
If you want to take something with you, you will just be given a bag, no lunch box.
There is no card payment!
+ 80p. You pay for the service separately
A very interesting place, everything is unusual, everything is handmade. There is something to photograph. It is pleasant to be there. The food is delicious.
It is a very strange museum, the works of one author are haphazardly hung on the walls, the exhibits are not signed, so it looks more like the interior of a cafe located in this museum. If anything, the food in the cafe is tasteless.
We stayed here on a guided tour. A cafe with mediocre food. The price does not match the quality of the dishes. Ear royally with two pieces of potatoes (300 rubles). About baklava ( 150 rubles) - the taste of dry eastern Tula gingerbread. The most interesting thing is that they consider the SERVICE to be a plus to the bill. And we weren't even warned about it. In response, at the checkout, we were informed in a dissatisfied tone that it was written in large letters on the menu (although we did not see it). They said that in Russia there are small portions, but here there are more (this is not the case) and in general it is customary in Abkhazia (to collect money from tourists just like that). The impression of the country is spoiled.
If you were not brought here with an excursion and there is nowhere to go, then I categorically do not recommend this place voluntarily. It is designed specifically for the excursion flow, respectively, and the food and attitude are such. I was genuinely surprised by the enthusiastic reviews that form a decent rating. Either from their own, or a very unassuming audience.
The food is not delicious, and the wine, if this surrogate can be called that at all, is extremely disgusting
Interesting surroundings, delicious food, drinks. Excellent hosts and staff. The recommendation is that warm water in the washbasins and liquid soap in the same place.

An interesting authentic restaurant, I've been to Abkhazia 2 times and had lunch only here 2 times. Delicious, inexpensive, interesting interior. River trout is super!!!
I especially want to mention the floor in the restaurant, I have not seen this anywhere else)))
I recommend it to everyone.
We were on a guided tour. They imposed this cafe. It's a disgusting, open attitude. the food is not very tasty and the price is too high and plus they charge 300 rubles for some service. Although they don't talk about it in advance. Everyone was swept away from this place . I do not advise you to get rid of the word at all
Delicious food, a beautiful museum, the owner finds driftwood on the shore, which the river carried out, and gives them shape, it turns out stunningly beautiful.
I have never seen such beauty, and we ate delicious food and the prices are excellent!!! We were hospitably welcomed, there is Wi-Fi, which is also very convenient for Abkhazia)
It's a very cool place, it's not just a museum, but also a cafe. Convenient location, fast, tasty and pleasant price. You will go to Rizza, I recommend it.
The place is interesting, the food is delicious, you can try different varieties of wine and chacha.
Very interesting creations made of wood. The master seems to ask you to look at the world from a different angle.
The toilet will not please you, a hole in the floor with amazing aromas.
Several hand washbasins, beautifully decorated.
The food is delicious, but spicy. Be prepared for this.
You can't find such a terrible place, they are rude, they cook disgusting, they mock the products, they were on a tour, everyone didn't like the food, saying this to the owners, we were also cheated!!! I strongly advise against it!
Very, very interesting. They showed the order, they walked with their mouths agape) The man put in so much work. The kitchen is not bad. The price is quite adequate.
To eat delicious food and admire the sculptures made of wood, it's here, you wonder what beauty!
The parking is excellent, the toilets are clean. The food arrived quickly
It is not an understandable institution, tourists are brought here under the guise of a "museum", but in fact a roadside cafe with questionable cuisine
We were driving from Lake Ritsa, we really wanted to eat, the price tag was 4,070 rubles for four, the children ate dumplings, after these dumplings - glory to enterofuril, diarrhea and vomiting for two days. The toilet has a hole, there is no paper, there is no soap at the handwashers, plus tips are included in the bill. The decanter with compote is not twisted, I ruined my white shorts. I don't recommend it.
A beautiful place, with regard to the kitchen as in a cheap canteen, but the price tag is significantly more expensive. But when you are brought as part of an excursion, there are not many options. If you have a choice, it is better not to stop by.
The restaurant has a museum of wooden figures, worthy of attention, very interesting and creative. Food: all meat and smoked and shish kebab is highly salted, absolutely not tasty! Dogwood compote is just a sweet swill with a chemical taste. Hominy fuuu.... Vegetables: serving bitter cucumbers to visitors, in my opinion, is simply unacceptable, sluggish parsley also made an impression....But to be fair, the trout was magical.
After making an order, we waited for the food to be delivered. The food came to momo from us. The waitresses kept confusing what to carry. The people who arrived later had already eaten and left.
Another waitress started bringing us food after we went to fight (they just told us to wait).
There was no "sorry".
The service is at a very low level.
Food for 3
The cafe is terrible. We didn't think that traditional dishes could be cooked so disgustingly in Abkhazia. You need to learn this on purpose. The shish kebab was heated in a frying pan, the trout was simply fried in flour in a frying pan. Khachapuri is like a sole made of incomprehensible dough. Homemade wine is just poison. I recommend avoiding it
On the way to the Ritz, we always stop at this cafe to say hello to the hostess, drink coffee and order lunch, on the way back we eat with pleasure, chat for life.Everything is delicious at home.Traditionally, we order baked trout, eggplant and phali!I highly recommend trying khachapuri with freshly brewed tea-divinely, from the road-the very thing! The atmosphere and attitude are beyond praise!I would be happy to recommend it!
The cafe at the museum is a nightmare!
All the dishes are prepared in advance, which means that you will be brought a wooden piece of dough instead of khachapuri in Ajarian style. "Freshly squeezed juice," as the staff calls it, is water with sugar and vodka. The kharcho is empty, the fish is fried in advance and warmed up.. if you want to eat more adequately, there are probably sane cafes on the way to the Ritz
The cafe is just terrible! All the dishes are simply inedible. They just don't know what khinkali is, what they look like and what they taste like, but they sell it. All dishes are warmed up.
