I looked into this museum a couple of weeks ago and now I really want to recommend it, since such places definitely cannot be passed by. I was impressed by the many interesting exhibits that preserve the atmosphere of those times. It's really cool that you can go into many of them, walk around the salon, and sit. It's great. I was pleased with the tour program. It is saturated, but not overloaded, and quickly attracts visitors of all age groups. And, of course, it is worth noting the excellent staff, I would like to express my special gratitude to them. After all, it is thanks to their light and positive approach that the atmosphere of the museum becomes warm and incredibly pleasant! It may sound pretty bold, but I want to bring all the museums of our country up to this level of service. Great place, I recommend it!)

About the museum (short review):
👍 The best transport museum I've ever visited! THANKS to the museum staff for their work and maintaining the huge collection of vehicles, as well as the exposition inside the museum.
I was with my mother on an excursion on November 1 at 12:00, joined the students.
Features:
⚠️ The museum is open by appointment in the format of an excursion. If you take this into account and sign up at least a week in advance, then you will be allowed there without any problems.
The building where the museum is located is the agency of the Ministry of Transport. Therefore, pre-registration to the museum has been introduced (there is a pass system inside).
No shortcomings were found during the tour :) 😎
Advantages:
✅️ Transport accessibility — the metro is about a 10-minute walk away, buses and trolleybuses run next to the museum.
✅️ The staff are very polite and literate people, both in the museum itself and at the entrance of the Minsktrans agency :)
✅️ The guides tell a very interesting story, they are also very polite and literate people! Tell them that they are the best! 😉
The exposition in the hall fully reveals the history of Minsk transport.

The children were absolutely delighted. From 9 to 16 years old. Adults are also interested in plunging into the past. Great idea and implementation. A pretty girl guide is ready to share for hours everything she knows about the history of urban transport, she is very knowledgeable. You can enter almost all the exhibits. Sit in the cabin or behind the wheel and feel like a passenger from the past. We were very glad that we chose to go to the museum with the children.

There were four of us, we signed up day in, day out without any problems at all. We liked it, both children and adults! We sat in all the trams, buses and trawlers. A great museum. There is both a classical exposition in the building and in the open air. The building has cool motorcycles from the Second World War, a photo zone, rare cars, you can see models of public transport and the history of the Minsk fleet. There is a large-scale representation of urban transport in the open air: trams, trolleybuses, buses, trucks (since the 1950s). In many, you can sit and spin the steering wheel. However, I read that since recently, visits are only possible by appointment as part of an excursion.

We didn't see anything about the tour or the pre-registration
So we came from far away, they gave us 3 hours and 20 minutes on the road with a child to be turned around at the entrance!!!! And they only said it by appointment!!!!
It was also impossible to sign up on the spot !!!
They called the hotline , explained the situation that there was no record on the Internet on the site
To which the operator said it was our mistake, but alas we can't help!!!!
Why should a child cry now?!!!?
Why should we give money for travel?!!? And spend about 7 hours on the road in two directions and they tell us, alas, but we can't do anything!!!? I am waiting for feedback from the management!!!

We were at the Museum of Passenger Transport on 11/19/2024.
Cool impressions will stay for a long time!!! A wonderful girl conducts an excursion starting with the history of transport development, an exhibition of antique bicycles, motorcycles and cars, and ending with an open-air exhibition of many models of buses, trolleybuses, trams, as well as old passenger cars. You can go into almost every model and sit in the cockpit!!Super!!! It's just great!!! The adults are delighted, not to mention the children!!

The documentary exposition inside the museum seemed very poor to me, but the mood was lifted by the video, the models of all trams, buses and trolleybuses and the wonderful, very friendly director of the museum, who competently and interestingly answered all questions that arose during the inspection of the museum. But then I got to an open area... I'm thrilled! Practically all the existing models of urban transport of the past years and modern ones have been collected! And you can climb into almost everything, sit, take pictures, including in the driver's seat! Men and children will definitely like it! And I really liked it! Thanks to the creators and the director of the museum!

A necessary and interesting museum, the only drawback is that not all equipment can be viewed from the inside. And so, personally, I remembered the transport of my childhood and my son looked, he was interested. I wish you more interesting exhibits and those who wish to visit you. We went with our son for 5 years. We both liked it very much. But you need to sign up in advance, you can use messengers because you just can't get into the territory. The guide did not bother with long stories about the history of urban transport and time passed quickly. I especially liked the open-air museum, where you can get on buses, trolleybuses and trams, even in cabins. The tour will impress the whole family!

There are a lot of bicycles, some are very old. You can sit on some motorcycles and take photos. There is an exhibition dedicated to the trolleybus and tram. You can see the tram. There is a very old map of the city of Minsk on which the places of wells are located, now you will not see this. There is an advertising post from the 1900s.
If the exposition is open, you can enter the buses and remember a bygone era. I recommend finding out about this in advance. Guided tours by prior arrangement. The staff is friendly, they are very happy for the exhibition. We all liked it. There were four of them. It is planned to open an exhibition dedicated to production. While funds are being collected. The guide is a good fellow, the girl is just a darling. The ticket costs 10 rubles per person for adults and 7 for children. It's great that you can sit behind the wheel on buses, trolleybuses, trams, it's a pity that time is limited, and there is not much variety. Inside the building there are three motsykas on which you can sit and watch from the heels, steer, there are models of a tram, trolleybuses and buses, a Moscow bus, etc.

The best museum of passenger transport!!!
A large number of exhibits, documents, and awards. There are several halls dedicated to different topics of transport. Wonderful aroma of transport in the halls!
There is a lot of transport on the street: buses, trolleybuses and trams! Most of the exhibits can be entered not only in the salon, but also in the cabin. What can not be done at various retroparades and in other museums.
