Красивый собор в стиле Виленского барокко. Хотя строился он в 12 веке по другим канона. Гид очень подробно рассказала об этапах строительства и перестройки собора, О том, как появился орган. Немного испортил впечатление концерт органной музыки, несмотря на новогодние праздники, репертуар был не соответствующий. Я не первый раз слушаю орган, но после этого концерта не возникло желание вернуться ( и не только у меня )

Красивое монументальное здание в живописном месте: на плато высокого холма в слиянии рек, где с середины холма бьет родник. Смутило одно- собор украшен масонским символом (оком). Думаю, экскурсоводы могут рассказать об этом, но мы сильно спешили.

Собор красивый и внутри и снаружи. Экспонаты интересные, но их совсем немного, хотя цена дороже чем в краеведческий музей, где экспонатов напорядок больше.

Величественное сооружение на берегах Западной Двины. Первое каменное сооружение на территории Беларуси.
Звучание органа - это что-то. Особым вниманием хочется отметить подвальное помещение. Там вся история Собора.

Софийский собор - это одна из визитных карточек Полоцка. Универсальный памятник архитектуры, конечно лучше посещать по воскресеньям, когда просят концерты органной музыки.
