This is rather not a museum of the city of Gomel, but just a collection of things from different times. In general, the museum's exposition is very modest, the size of the museum is very small, and the ticket price (8,20) is very much overstated for such a collection. You'd better go to the museum of military glory or the museum in the Patskevich Palace in the park, they are nearby, there is much more interesting and more exposition.
I really liked the museum. The exposition is small, but it is made with such love that it cannot fail to make an impression)
The exhibition of paintings embroidered by the master Batsunova S.I. is especially interesting. I strongly advise you to see it!
A small, provincial museum. I'll start with the fact that your aunt is following you, who turns on and off the lights in the rooms every time, a malicious warden. The history of Gomel has not been revealed, the museum is mediocre
And at the end of the cherry tree are paintings embroidered with a cross. Do not waste your time, as well as for the whole of Gomel
A modest exposition. There's not much to see. You have to read a lot. The smell of an old, unventilated room. It's a pity for the time spent on the museum, everything can be viewed on the Internet in 10 minutes.
I often visit, I always like expositions. I exhibit my own works. You can also view the exposition and take atmospheric photos in the interior of the museum for 1 ruble.
We took an all-inclusive ticket to see all the expositions in the park and what is included in the complex, but as it turned out in the Museum of history, not everything is included in this ticket-why they don't talk about it in the palace when buying it is unclear.
A small neat micro-museum, you can go in once a year, there is rarely anything worthwhile. Tombstone monuments are lying around behind the museum, it is interesting to read the inscriptions and try to understand what is written, it is a pity that there is access from all sides.
Excellent museum, excellent staff. It hosted my exhibition dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the White Railway. Special thanks to Director Yulia Svyatoslavovna.
About nothing... This is not a museum of the City, but a museum of everyday life of different times. I liked her in general. The guide told everything quickly, without unnecessary stories, but it was boring.
